    Overall good bed

    I bought this for my 13 year old, 80lbs Akita. He's been sleeping on the concrete and I wanted to get him off the cold floor as it doesn't help his hips. I was a bit worried from the reviews but decided to get it anyway. The packaging was good, it wasn't flat by any means. I put it in spot where he I bought this for my 13 year old, 80lbs Akita. The packaging was good, it wasn't flat by any means. I put it in spot where he lays the most and he got used to it in a day. Rarely do I find him anywhere other then his bed now. After about 2 weeks there is nice little Akita dent in it, since he lays in the middle and not one side or the other, rotating it doesn't work. I am not too worried as I will just need to fluff it up. I would get this if you are worried about price or if you fur baby would even use it. … more

    Lumpy and floppy

    This bed has no structure and feels like it’s loosely filled with packing peanuts. Definitely not orthopedic. My dog seems pretty confused by it. It’s also 8-9 inches deep instead of 4, so she looks like she’s wading through a gymnastics foam pit when she tries to walk on it. If she lies down on the side, the bed sags deeply and pushes all the filling to the other side. I’ll give it a minute to see if it settles, but we might be trying to send this back tomorrow. … more
