My bunny loved this. I like getting these types of toys because it helps with stimulating those little brains, also helps with boredom to get them to play! This is also great for slow feeding, if you have animals like mine who basically inhale their food 😂 10/10 for my rabbit pretty, going to try it on my girl kaz tomorrow, I'm sure she'll love it 🥰
I have a 15 week goldendoodle. I bought this two weeks ago and it is definitely top of the toy list! The egg was her favorite, squeaker wore out shortly after but now it makes a clicking noise instead of squeaking which is just as much fun for her! The steak is next favorite (it crinkles). The funniest part is the tray itself. Once she pulls all of the toys out of the tray, the tray becomes top focus as she flings it around with her mouth. Highly recommend this toy. She chews but not aggressive, more like chomping, so it has still held up well to her playing.
18 mo golden loves this toy! He’s particularly obsessed with whatever the crinkly orange piece is supposed to be. The tray is great and you can put a lot of kibble in it and hide it under the toys. The velcro stickiness is ok, although it could be improved a bit
Our pup loves his TV dinner! His favorite parts are the peas and carrots, the turkey leg, and the cheese, which makes a crunchy noise that he likes. He has a lot of fun taking them off the velcro and then tossing them around. The food pieces are on the smaller side, so I would lean towards recommending this for smaller dogs and puppies. Also the concept is so quirky, I love it.
My dog just came out of a research lab and, after spending his first 6 years in a cage, he has no idea what to do with toys. This puzzle toy has been a great introduction - hiding food under the pieces motivates him to dig and nuzzle at the toy and entertains him for a while. This toy is not for heavy chewers and would probably be too easy for dogs more used to puzzles, but it's perfect for my little guy.
My girl is 12.5 years old lab/pit mix and has dimentia symptoms so I thought this would be great along with some others to hide her cookies in as we play a hide and seek cookie game. i like this one alot you can hide cookies plus the pieces krinkle she loves them even to play with randomly. I would recommend for mental stimulation.
Since my senior Chihuahua is food motivated, I knew she'd would enjoy Frisco's retro microwave dinner hide and seek squeaky puzzle toy. The plush tray has four compartments that holds the food (Velcro strip in each compartment)which either has a squeaky or crinkling sound effect. I placed some small dry kibble and treats in a couple of the compartments and my doggy had to use her nose to sniff out the kibble and treats.Mentally she had to figure out how to get the food that was under the "play food" as it was attached to the tray (Velcro). She gently tugged on the "play food" with her teeth removing it, tossing it aside so she could eat her reward. She loves her new Frisco toy and expects me to set the prepared tray out in her designated spot so she can sniff and eat her treats throughout the day. Oh, she stacks the "play food" in a neat pile letting me know that she'd eaten her treats. Lol. It's a good way to keep her at a healthy weight. I would supervise if your dog is a chewer of dog toys. I highly recommend this hide and seek toy.
My 9 lb shih tzu likes to take this apart and play with each little toy. Each toy either crinkles or squeaks.
My 11 month old beagle loves this toy! It’s fluffy and also like a little mind game because he likes to take all of the pieces out of the tray, it’s hysterical. We’ve had it 1 month and it hasn’t ripped but I think he’s pretty gentle with the fluffy toys , he can chew a bone to nothing though . 10/10
I surprised my dogs with this last Thanksgiving. It is still played with daily and in perfect condition! This is saying a lot--we have two full toy boxes and a lot of destroyed toys. They both love removing the pieces. Not one tear in this thing. It's super cute, made well and easy to put the pieces back in. A total win.
