the perfect toy
My high-energy young Golden is easily bored with toys. He LOVES this and it's easy to throw a long way because of the ball on the end. He usually runs after what I throw and lays down with it. Now he brings it back so we can do it all over again. Nice exercise for him!
Murphy tested and approved!
My German Shepherd Loves it! He’s very in to squeakies and this had an awesome squeak, no stuffing to tear apart and a great tug/throw rope attached. He has a million toys but seemed extremely happy when I gave him this one compared to the others. How long will it last? Probably not long, but none of his toys do. Even Kong is no match for him.
Definitely not for tough chores
I thought the story was going to be perfect, but my dog broke it literally within five minutes of having it I thought the toy was going to be perfect, but my dog broke it literally within five minutes of having it. I try to use the filter when picking out toys, and I select by large or giant breed because I have an 83 pound pup. This toy would be more for small or medium dogs. It’s really cute and the ball seems to be just fine, but he chewed through the rope very quickly.
For mature dogs
I have a two year old Border Collie/Australian Shepard. He loves to play tug and chew! Unfortunately, he had this apart in less than 24 hours. I threw away the rope but he loves the ball. I recommend the item for dogs that aren't in their "terrible two's"
Great safe toy!
This toy is great! I have a new puppy who liked to chew on the tassel ends of these rope toys and she was getting pieces off which didn't make me happy! This rope is continuous with the added bonus of a squeaky ball on it...perfect!!
mixed feelings about this product
I bought this toy for a new puppy on my client list. It took a beating and lasted as long as could be expected. When the rope gave way and the ball was no longer attached I replaced it. The second one only lasted a day before the ball detached. I had ordered an extra so he is now on his third. Hopefully it will last as long as the first one did.
Sturdy and fun toy
This toy is durable and my dog (60# Boxador) enjoys tugging, fetching and chewing on it. She usually destroys the squeaker and fabric in other toys quickly. This ball is not soft and requires more pressure to squeak, thus still intact. The fabric in the rope is still in good condition, not torn or frayed after 2 weeks of play.
Loud But A Favorite
My bully mix LOVES this thing. The squeaker is fairly loud (and he likes to see how hard he can bite it, to make it squeak even louder) but I was expecting that. He’s a destroyer of all squeakers but hasn’t managed to silence this one yet, which has me surprised and impressed. I have a feeling that even after the squeaker breaks, he’ll still like to chew on the ball, he likes how squishy it is. He’s had it for several months now, and it remains his favorite to tug with or chew on at random.
This toy may actually survive Maggie
This is a very rugged toy for both tug of war and fetch. Maggie, a lab puppy who already tops 60 pounds, thoroughly enjoys it. Her favorite toys seem to be balls and this has one. We ordered a box full of toys to see which ones she'd like and to replace the ones she's destroyed that belong to our other dog, Happy. This one is a winner. I wouldn't use it with a small dog like Happy. I think she'd lose some teeth.
Great toy for heavy chewer
This ball does not break easily. My voracious, heavy chewer has not broken this in several weeks. Dogs are still stealing from one another, so it's a desired toy!!
