Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Fun for about a Month
By nope on Nov 24, 2020
This was such a fun toy for my Border Collie...for about a month. I really wish this toy was more durable. Unfortunately, the ball and rope didn't stand the test of time with it falling apart after only 10 uses. My dog isn't a super chewer, most of her toys survive a Minimum of 7-8 MONTHS. Very disappointing... she has stuffed animals that survived longer than this toy.

Noooooooooooooop
By Thankgoodness on Dec 5, 2020
This toy lasted less than a week with my 40 lb, 6 month pup. Rather than threading the rope through the ball, the ball is sewn to the ends of a frayed rope. You get less than what you paid for with this one.

Easily Destroyed
By Harley on Jan 14, 2021
This toy is not durable was destroyed and in pieces within 5 min. My dog is not an aggressive chewer, and it did not last.

Don't buy this item

Only lasted two days. I thought the rope went through the ball but just ends of rope. They pulled right out in no time

Ball too big and my dog chewed the handle
By Tiffany on Oct 16, 2020
Well, I didn’t see how big the ball was when I ordered. It’s like double the size of a regular tennis ball, lol. So the ball does not fit in my dog’s mouth. So my dog chewed the handle up instead. I had to just throw it away bc I didn’t want him to swallow pieces of rubber handle.

Not for heavy chewer
By Jack on Oct 31, 2020
Not for heavy chewers. Mine had the plastic handle off with in 2 days and was spreadIng yarn all over the house within a week. I’m sure it will be fine for one who does not chew but not for heavy chewers

Lasted about 15 minutes
By Ferret on Aug 14, 2020
It broke as soon as our dog bit the tennis ball vs the rope. I'm very disappointed because our dog loves to destroy tennis balls and we planned to keep this toy out of her reach when not in use. It broke the first time we pulled it out. This could have been avoided with the rope actually looped through the ball all the way through. Instead it has two knots on the inside of the ball and she yanked both of them out. As a toy advertised as a tung a war type toy. It failed completely. It is now a rope toy with a handle and a mangled ball. I'd say the rope part is of medium quality vs the super cheap kind. So she'll get fun outta destroying the rope for awhile. Also the actually Handle is actually It broke as soon as our dog bit the tennis ball vs the rope. I do want to add that I did use the search tool for large and gaint dogs and this did not hold up to a big dog at all. … more

Cheap product
By Jenn on Oct 8, 2020
Ball broke off rope after the first day of using. Now it can no longer be used for tug of war. My dog loves to play but I will not purchase this again from chewy.

If you have a chewer do not buy!
By Disappointed on Aug 23, 2020
I bought this toy thinking it would be perfect for my Pitbull who loves to play tug of war. Well I was definitely mistaken. I pulled this toy out of the box, cut the tag off, gave it to him and within 5 minutes the plastic handle and ball were chewed off and after 20 the rope was completely untied and falling apart.

Lady looooves it!
By Ladythelabradane on Sep 18, 2020
Every time we play with this toy Lady gets so excited that she starts doing zoomies! We've had it for a few months now and it shows no signs of wear aside from grass stains. Its a heavy toy, definitely for large dogs.
