Just what I wanted
I have an elderly cat who’s arthritic in his hips and has a lot of pain. When I moved on my bed, he’d move too & that caused him pain so he’d growl which caused stress for both of us. I wanted an egg-crate foam bed that had a bolster to rest his head, was deep enough to give him that secure feeling and wasn’t too plushy to stand on. This bed fits it all! I moved the reversible Sherpa/linen bolster & underneath that is a Sherpa-covered egg-crate foam! Moving the cushion up gives him an alternative for resting his head in a more sitting up position & he hangs out like that when he’s not sleeping. As you can see (hopefully) the small size is more than large enough for my average size kitty. He’s curled up in about 3/4 of it in the photo. Now when I move at night I don’t even wake Seabiscuit so he doesn’t roll and doesn’t hurt. The price for this was fair, doable on my limited income. The color is neutral and it looks nice with the teal blue piping on grey. It also doesn’t take up much room on my double bed. Note: taking up the cushion to use the egg-crate foam won’t work without a cushioning underneath the bed as that foam is only about 2” thick. I think floor would be too hard & probably too cold. I washed it on gentle & line dried outside. The faux shearling got a bit matted but easily fixed by brushing. WE LOVE THIS BED!
the first bed she’s instantly adapted to!!
My girl is getting old and needed a new bed after her old one started wearing out. This is the first time she has instantly gotten used to. I opened the box maybe an hour ago and she’s already fast asleep. Very happy knowing she’s comfy!
My dogs love this bed! (So do I)
This 2-piece bed is perfect for my dogs, and relatively easy to clean. One dog uses the separate cushion almost like a duvet, while the other appreciates the extra cushy nest.
Lesser Quality, Shredded Immediately
I have had a large one of these for my 6 year old pit/dane who regularly nests in it, using the full force of his 75 lbs to pull at the bottom and move the top pillow around. I have washed it close to 80 times or more over the course of having it and all the pieces are still intact. FF to getting a new puppy in July and needing to take apart her matching bed to wash it, because puppies have accidents, and the eggshell that lines the bottom section got a huge rip in it and when I was rinsing it out, in addition to a tear starting where I was holding it to rinse it out. I asked for a replacement, which of course Chewy supplied, thinking that it may just be a fluke. After 1 day with the new one, the same issue though this time the eggshell absolutely disintegrated making this bed unusable without a pad on the bottom. Definitely lessened the quality while charging the same price... Asked for a refund!
Not the same quality as previous Frisco dog beds
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product. The bed is acceptablely bolstered on the edges. The "orthopedic" pad is way to thin. I would generously measure it at an inch thick, and the pad topper is not supportive enough to last on its own. It's not supportive enough for even our 6 month old puppy. We've bought two Frisco orthopedic beds in the past and we're very happy with the quality. The pad on the old model was at last 4 inches thick and very supportive. This product leaves a lot to be desired. I'm disappointed that Frisco discontinued their previous model.
Muffin Loves It!
I bought this bed for my cat Muffin to replace another bed of the same size and shape that she no longer uses. After it was delivered she rubbed her face up against it a couple of times but was more interested in eating her lunch so I thought she wasn't going to like it. However, immediately after eating she climbed inside and started making biscuits. She doesn't like lots of cushioning and I didn't think she'd care for the removable pillow so I took it out. I think this will be her favorite resting place from now on.
The whole package!
It's hard to find a quality dog bed for a reasonable price, but I think this one is the whole package: quality and affordable. My dogs were suspicious at first, but they've come to like it! The large fits my Basset and Shiba very well
Beautiful buys double check sizes
Bed says large please LOOK AT THE CHART this is on the large end for small dogs; not large for large dogs :) It is well built and the Chewy team did an amazing job packing it.

Comfortable for my chihuahuas
I have one senior chihuahua and one adult chihuahua, standard size. They both love this bed. The senior dog wants the fleece side up of the separate "pillow". The adult dog loves carting it to a location that better suits him at any particular moment. Great product for both dogs - though they are not in the bed together. Stretching out is important.
