What is the capacity of the food side? Is this big enough for my 8yr old lab mix I just adopted? She eats 1.5 cups of dry food at each feeding. Durable for bigger dogs (45lbs). I dont want something she can scoot around!!!

The food bowl can hold up to 3 cups of food and the water bowl can hold up to 24 ounces of water.

Great slow feeder for gentle dogs!

This slow feeder is great! Really happy with the results. My dog used to be done eating in about 1-2 minutes. Now it takes about 5 to 8 minutes for him to finish his meals! My only advice is to get this bowl if your dog is more on the gentle side. Also we take away the bowl every night before bed.

Nice solution

#ReceivedFreeProduct I have had this silicone slow feeder dog bowl and water bowl combo for a few weeks now. I have found that it is a nice solution to the fast feeding of my dog. The maze shape of the feeding bowl allows my pup to slow down and has solved his digestive issues. However It is a bit of a pain to clean since it is an all in one. I have to take the entire mat to the sink to wash just the food bowl. I do wish that the food bowl was removable like the water bowl. Other than that, It is a great water and food bowl combo.

Too difficult

I think this bowl should not be recommended for cats. Our cat is too discouraged with it. We are going back to using ice cube trays for our cat.

It works!

#ReceivedFreeProduct Frisco’s Silicone Slow Feeder Mat has a great design. I love that the water bowl can easily be removed for filling, and allowing for cleaning of the feeding mat. Our smaller pup needed this type of feeding bowl. She was malnourished/starved as a puppy before we got her, so she has a tendency to scarf down food as fast as she can, and always ends up choking. The maze design of this bowl makes it so she has to slow down while eating. The feeding mat did frustrate her at first. She would often flick the food out with her foot onto the floor to eat it trying to get more. It did make her eat less in one mouthful though, so it was a win. Less choking! The silicone feeder cleans up easily too with just a cloth or washing it with water. It holds plenty of food. We found with her eating slower out of this bowl, she consumed less food as well.

Ripped almost immediately

My puppy ripped this the first day he was fed from it. It was ripped beyond use within a week.

Slow Drinker Too!

#ReceivedFreeProduct We actually have a problem with our dog drinking too fast then she throws up. We put her water on the slow feeder side of this product and noticed a HUGE difference with her not throwing up as soon as she drinks. Highly recommend this product for fast eaters and fast drinkers!!

Perfect

#ReceivedFreeProduct Over all the Frisco Silicone Slow Feeder Mat with Stainless Steel Bowl is great. I have a dog that eats as though it is a race. Then proceeds to throw up! The silicone slow feeder really is perfect. With all the circles, Tammo has to slow down while he eats. I have mixed emotions about the bowl incorporated with the silicone feeder mat. On one hand everything is right there. Food and water. But sometimes it would be nice to have them separated. Overall it is great. I would buy it again. In fact, my son bought one for his Boarder too!

Works great

#ReceivedFreeProduct I have a large yellow lab puppy that always seems to eat so fast. This product works wonders to help him slow down while eating and drinking and helping with digestion. He even thinks the mat is fun to use like a game! Easy to clean and overall great product

Dog bit it apart and left holes in it

Unfortunately, i left it out over night and one of my dogs was likely trying to get food our of the food bowl side and easily bit through the bowl and thankfully spit out the pieces next to it but it's no longer usable because I would be worried they are going to bite more pieces off or accidentally eat it with the food.
