No, the lick mat is NOT indestructible. Supervise your pet when using since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the lick mat is damaged.
Definitely more flexible than the lickimat brand BUT not a bad alternative for the price. My pups dont chew their lick mats so i cant speak to that, but they are pretty solid so far. Can be hard to freeze them simply bc you need a lot of room if you do both at once (compared to the lickimat ufo style which is so nice) but that is not a huge deal. Again for the price: a great pick up to add to your treat toy stockpile!
This is easily one of my favorite enrichment purchases for my dogs. For the puppy, it's great for getting him settled in his crate and forming that positive association in there while tiring him out a little. For my adult dog, it's a great reward or chill-out break to reinforce what we're working on. Have been using applesauce so far, just the squeeze pouches to keep it simple. The dogs love it and it's so easy for me. Will definitely stock up on more so that i can put one set in the freezer and still have one set ready to use.
Easy to use lick mat. My dog will chew off the corners once he is mostly done with the food, but luckily he doesn’t swallow it. Not the easiest to clean, but I soak in water to get any remaining food out and that does the trick.
I didn't even know licking mats existed, until our vet used one during our puppy's first visit. Sadie was so engaged with what was on the mat, that she had no idea that she was getting a shot, and her nails trimmed! The Frisco Silicone Treat Lick Mat 2-pack offers exceptional quality, at a good price, providing an excellent value and a perfect distraction for a young puppy when needed. Would definitely recommend this product.
Honestly I was questioning these at first and worried they would make a mess but my Australian shepherd puppy who can be really destructive loves these. Totally gets her focused in longer than even her Kong toys to get her to calm down after some zoomies. I just put on a little peanut butter and put it in the freezer and she’s at it for a while. I don’t leave her alone with it where I can’t hear her though just in case she starts chewing it. So far like magic and easy to clean.
Our dogs love these Lick Mats. We use pumpkin, yogurt and peanut butter and they just have a great time trying to get every bit of it licked up. The blue mat is a little easier to clean due to the bigger areas in between.
My dog henri loves these because I usually will roast a squash or sweet potatoes and smush it into the mat and spread it out and freeze it for a snack for him later he enjoys the activity of eating he is a fast eater usually but this has to slow him down a little It still quick for him to eat it all because he gets other frozen trays similar to this like when I freeze mushy food into his kongs Dogs really love the mental stimulation from this kind of toy and love the snacks Very good way to give my dog some fun times and get some more vegetables in his diet would def recommend this product
This two pack was perfect for my two dogs. I like how the silicon sticks well to our hardfloors, so they don't push it all over the place. I have been doing a layer of canned pumpkin and then freezing for a special treat. Gives 10-20 minutes of activity for the dogs. And they clean easily.
I got these for my dog that can at times be anxious. I was concerned that after licking them he would rip them apart. He did not. They are great. He loves them. Once he is done I throw them in the top rack of my dishwasher
Very nice quality! Plenty big enough for my small breed boys, and I would imagine big enough for larger breeds too. Very glad they will not slide around while in use. I'm hoping mine will relieve some storm related anxiety by distracting my Yorkie mix a bit. I have not had a chance to test this yet, but I'm sure I will very soon. And if not, I'm sure he will enjoy them anyway. Very glad to have them on hand either way. I have not seen nicer ones in my local pet stores.
For best results, presoak to remove dried food before washing.
