Great if you have a big enclosure

Using this for my dwarf hamster. I use a Detolf enclosure. This bedding is quite thin and not super absorbent, but it holds its shape well and allows for my robo hamster to burrow into it. It's surprisingly fluffy. Because of the size of my enclosure, I don't have to replace bedding as often. For smaller enclosures like a 40 gallon, this might be too thin. I can't say I would reccommend it to larger breeds of small pets, but for my purpose, it's perfect and cost effective.

not as absorbent as kaytee

When we got our Guinea pigs we started with fleece but I quickly realized that was a pain and switched to paper bedding. I usually use kaytee clean and cozy but bought this brand on sale. It is packed so tightly when I saw the tiny package I thought no way would it fluff up enough. It does! It is less dusty than the kaytee brand as well which is nice. However I don’t think it’s as absorbent and it’s definitely not as good at odor control. Overall it’s ok, I feel like it should be cheaper just for the fact that it’s not as absorbent but the girls are happy with it.

There are much cheaper options that are softer and expand better. Skip this.

Wanted to like this

I really did want to like this bedding. I use it for the "kitchen" area of my C&C Guinea Pig cage. It was on sale and I thought I would try it. Unfortunately, it is very thin and has absolutely no absorbency. It is also so light that it goes EVERYWHERE when my pigs run around (onto my fleece, outside of the cage, etc.) It is very messy and I am having to change it out more frequently than I am used to. I wouldn't recommend this bedding to anyone.

Thin and useless

Previously used Oxbow bedding but decided to give Frisco a try. Mistake! Frisco paper is thin, poor absorbency and no odor control. Would need to change it two or more times per week to keep our cage fresh. What a waste! Going back to Oxbow.

I use this for my two rats. It's actually pretty dust free and is odor resistant for about 6 days.

Paper bedding needs more substance!

This paper bedding is too light and does not absorb as well as other paper bedding. The paper is too thin!

Best yet! small pet bedding!

First time I have used this product. Getting good results. No odor for days. Very absorbent. Keeps Andy dry. Love it!
