The 48" size holds my new kitten's food dishes, litter box, bed, toys, and he is very comfortable inside of it. The best part is it is made of very sturdy material and there is mesh in the sides and top to peek in on him between times when I have him in the playpen and later to play in the living room. There are two zipper doors on either side to access your pet or pet supplies inside and it folds up to fit inside a bag with handles. He can run across inside the playpen and play with toys and I don't have to be in the same room as him if I leave the room momentarily. Sneakers loves to play and loves attention so I get him out frequently to play. I had a coupon for returning customer $15 off so the 48" size was 51 dollars when I checked out. This is the best product I have ever purchased from Chewy.
I bought this for my cat recovering from knee surgery, I had to keep her confined for a month, this tent was perfect. Very sturdy, lots of zippered access, room for her to move/walk around. The tent also had enough room for a litter box, toys, food. Access from the top and sides made it easy to clean, feed and get to her. Great product for what I needed it for.
I got this playpen because we needed a big vent for her to stay inside and have spaces to run during her diarrhea period, otherwise she left soft stools on our bed constantly. This playpen was big enough. However, our cat knows how to open zippers, so she can manage to get out. The top zipper has cover so she can't open from inside, I hope all zippers could be like this one. Also, like other reviews said, the playpen is not easy to fold back.
Need to keep a cat for a friend for two days during a move, and the pen was the perfect solution. Got the surprisingly large 45” version. It was secure, and his large litter box fit, along with a feeding tray and his blanket. I threw a light tablecloth over half of the top to give it more of a hidey-hole feel for the scared puss. The cost of the pen just about equaled two nights of boarding elsewhere, so it was definitely worth the cost. My cat enjoyed exploring it and I’ll use it when traveling with her, or whenever she may need temporary shelter. There are online videos to help with folding it up after use, though like others have said it is a bit of a challenge to do so.
I bought this to use for my cat in my vehicle and on trips, but have not used it yet. I did, however, open it up to see how it sets up and packs up. I know other reviews indicated it was hard to pack back up, but if you look up the diagrams carefully, it is not difficult at all. Once you know how it's done, it won't be a problem to pack up. I can't say anything about its durability yet since I haven't used it yet exept to see how it opens and closes. It's roomy enough for-sure for a cat with a litter box, food, and water, plus toys.
First I would like to say, I love the play pen my 'fur mom' got me for our upcoming 'big move'. Second, she got the 45 inch one, so all my 'things' fit in it - including a disposable litter pan. Thank you fur mom! Now, why you got only 4 stars: I watched 'fur mom' struggle to collapse my new play pen - she is not as limber as she used to be... it wasn't until she looked at the video on this product that she was doing it wrong. She tried a couple more times, but after the very first attempt, she did bend a couple floor supports. She gave up that night and we rested on it - the next morning she again went to fold up the pen - it wasn't pretty, but the job was done. When she went to put it in the carry case, it almost didn't fit due to parts of the floor sticking out (she tried to fold them in, but didn't want the risk of the whole thing popping open). So, I heard her say: only if they had made the carrying case just a bit larger/wider! Anyway, all is well now and she only has to fold it up a few more times while in hotels to our new home (950 miles)! I am glad 'fur mom' let me get to know the pen before the scary car rides where I will spend my time in my oversized hard carry box with fluffy blankets and catnip. Thank you for reading my day 1 story.
I bought the 45x45 and it’s great for kittens or if you have one cat that needs to be temporarily quarantined. It’s easy to setup and The zipper is easier to use. Sturdy, and easy to clean.
This playpen was purchased to help keep my animals separate when they need their own space. I purchased a bigger size than planned, but it worked out perfectly giving my cats more room to lie down, room for their littler box, and room for a couple of interactive toys. This is easy to pop-up and take apart when needed. I recommend for someone needing to separate their animals or traveling with a pet or wanting an alternative to a metal crate.
Very easy to set up , I purchase it so my cat can enjoy some fresh air in my yard in total safety . It is large enough to put a litter box , food , water bowls and blankets for her comfort . Very good value and since it is light it could easily be moved .
I'm SO happy with this playpen! I bought the 42x42x24 for my papillon puppy 5 months ago, she's in it several hours a day 5 days a week while I work. There's plenty of room for a little dog bed, lots of toys, and room for her to bounce around and play. There are 2 doors on the sides and the whole top unzips also. It probably wouldn't work for a puppy that is intent on chewing and escaping, but I play with her 2 hours before she goes in it and give her regular play breaks during the day, so we've never had issues with her trying to chew on it or escape. This has been the best purchase ever for our pup!
