I had more of her coat come off as I was petting my Anatolian shepard-Mastiff mix, than brushing. After about 5 strokes there were maybe 3 pieces of hair in the brush. Will go back to using the old brush I was replacing.
Too thick to use - it causing pulling hairs out. Really want to return this but because of product can not send it back, make me hold it. I really wish Chewy takes actual returns and donate it from the company.
Although a groomer had recommended I get a "slicker" type brush, this one did very little against my corgis' fur. I thought it would be good because of the white beads on the end to prevent it from scratching too hard against their skin, but it ended up not getting much fur at all. I guess I'll stick with my Furminator.
One of my dogs HATES having his legs, butt, head, and tail brushed. I was using a slicker brush with pins previously and bought this, hoping he would be more tolerant of it. For the first time in forever, I was actually able to brush him all over. These don't pinch at all like the regular pin ones can (if you're not careful). I'll admit though, this brush isn't as effective as I had hoped with pulling undercoat out, but it's still a nice brush but not all you'll need to groom a double coated breed. I'll bet this brush would be good for getting puppies used to being brushed too! I'm saving my second one for my next puppy.
worthless for my dog....this is for tiny little dogs.
My dogs love this brush. It's soft on the ends and gets to the tanglesceasily.
This brushed did not combe through our dogs fur . Maybe good for a small dog with very thin fur, But not for A dog that has a lot of fur like a golden retriever or a shepherd et cetera.
Was looking for a slicker brush to help with matts in my dogs hair. Missed that it said soft. This was not the solution I needed. My other brush worked better
Suitable for my small cats. I can hold it and gentle to brush every day. so lovely time.
After two uses the tips came off the bristles and fur is hard to remove.
