They love to "throw" it!
Two large breed dogs, on is 18 months the other 6 months. Both love this toy. It has a squeaky but, the legs also allow them to grab, shake and fling. Our 7yr old coonhound who usually ignores toys but, will occasionally play with this one.
Favorite toy
Gave this as Christmas present to our dogs. It quickly became Blue’s favorite toy. It is now June and is pretty ratty at this point but still played with daily. Lol. They eyes were chewed off in a day or so. But it has held up rather well overall.
My Favorite Toy!
Mom got me this spider because she loves Halloween. It's my favorite toy! Yes, I did tear off a couple of his eyeballs. I even managed to get his squeaker out. This toy has been through a lot but it has lasted longer than all the rest! Mom even ordered me a second one because she knows it's my favorite.
Bella loves it!
This immediately became our dog's favorite toy. She loves playing tug of war with us! This toy is really easy to get a good grip on for both us and her. I will likely reorder after this one has been ripped to shreds. Only downside is it isn't lasting as long as I hoped, but totally worth it. Squeaker died the first day and all the eyes got chewed off in about 3 days. Still usable though!
Surprisingly durable!
My vizsla is a tough chewer and destroys rope toys (and most toys) pretty quickly. However, we're coming up on a month with this toy and she's still able to play with it and loves it. Some of the strings are looser now, but they don't unravel like other rope toys. I would highly recommend it and buy it again!
DIDN'T STAND UP TO OUR 4 LEGGED GIRL
I thought because this is rope, it would stand up to some heavy use. Our girl seems to like to "disembowel" her toys. I may not have read the description completely, but the center of this toy (where the eyes are) is stuffed, and that is where the squeakers are as well. The day the toy arrived, she immediately chewed the eyes off (glued on tabs) then proceeded to chew through the rope body, removed the stuffing and the squeakers (luckily, I caught her soon enough and removed the plastic bubble from her mouth!). The rope must be cotton -- anyway, can easily be torn open.
Dogs ignore
My dogs ( Bulldog/pit & Boston terrier) love balls, fetch & things that squeak. I tried this toy so we could play tug of war or fetch. Also hoped they wouldnt tear it apart like alot of balls we've tried. They have no interest in it. Otherwise, made well....
Best chew toy ever!
This is the only chew toy that our 75 lb. lab has not destroyed. She loves to chew. It was a week or more before she finally got a hole big enough to pull the squeaker out. Then she pulled out the stuffing. This toy is study enough that she continues to play with it, although it has only 2 eyes now.
Durable toy
I have 2 dogs whose toys don't last long because they play very hard with them. This toy, however, is still intact after many hours of tugging and chewing. The only thing is the squeaker no longer makes noise, but we can live with that.
Do not buy
Within 10 minutes, 3 eyes were missing from the toy and the stuffing was coming out of the middle. Our dog does not typically destroy toys, so I do not recommend the toy.
