Runs Way Small
Ordered a medium size for my 15 lb. terrier/chihuahua mix. This size should have fit 15 to 22 lbs. However, it was too snug for my dig. The full-length sleeves were difficult to get on, and the suit was also too tight for my dog's midsection. The sweatshirt is well made, and the material is very nice, so I donated it to my local animal shelter.
Great Quality and Soft!
I ordered this in size XX-Large for my basset/beagle mix dog. It is great quality and soft material. I had first ordered the X-Large but it was a bit too snug and short for her longer body. So I ordered another one in a size up because I loved the quality and comfort of the material. Now it fits good! I would highly recommend this!
Thicker than expected
Nice thick material. Color is sharp not dull. Looks nice as expected but a bit too thick for indoor younger active dog. I find that I need to order 1 size larger than the chart recommends. My Shih Poo is more poodle w/long legs. 13 lbs. neck 11.5 15 neck-tail, chest 15.5 With a full fluffy coat I order a L now with the Frisco brand of Hoodies. The fit is a little looser & easier to put on and take off. Hope this helps anyone determine what size to get. I haven't wash it yet, plan to wash inside out in cool water in a laundry bag. I really don't like when things pill. Just makes it ugly. My dog is active but gentle on her things. Hope it lasts. I had to replace all her clothes from a few years ago as she outgrew them, Darn long poodle legs. Gets a bit $$.
Nice sweatshirt
I ordered a medium for my 9 pound chihuahua based on reviews that said the shirt runs small. It fits well through the chest. Although it looks big in other places it does not slip and it is short enough on the belly that it does not get wet when he goes to the bathroom. It is good quality material.
Sized Wrong
The hoodie seems to be well made. I managed to get it on my dog, but it is far too small. I measured carefully, as instructed. The goodie runs quite small! I can't use it, so will donate it to a shelter. This is not the fault of Chewy. It is sized wrong from the factory. Chewy service is great. It shipped and arrived promptly!
Little Red Doggie Hoodies
I purchased 2 small hoodies for my 2 7-pound Yorkies and they fit perfectly. Also purchased a large for a 19-pound miniature schnauzer and his fits a bit small but still ok. The 3 dogs look so warm and cozy in their matching red hoodies. Very glad there are front legs on these hoodies which helps keep them warm.
Pup Approved
Bruce is a 20lb terrier mix with short legs, a long body, and a disdain for being dressed. The large hoodie fits him perfectly, keeps him warm, and he will not let me take it off of him. It is well made, warm and fleecy on the inside, and clearly very comfortable. Perfect for the 25 degree Texas winters.
Exactly what I was looking for
This sweatshirt is adorable. We live in New England, and my dog gets chilly easily. This sweatshirt is great for our daily walks under 35 degrees. I did have to reorder it in a size up from what the sizing chart recommended. So, I'd say it runs small. I could get it on my dog, after a fashion, but then it was too tight for him to walk. Chewy refunded the original charge and discounted the replacement. It was really helpful. The new one fits great and is super soft inside. I'm quite pleased.
Great sweatshirt
I originally ordered the wrong size (my fault) and instead of returning it, they gave me a full refund and said that I can donate the shirt to my local Animal Shelter. My new order arrived less than 24 hours after my phone call. Great company, great staff, and great prices. Cant say enough good things about them
Dog Loves his Hoodie
This hoodie is so cute and seems warm when I rub my hand on inside. I think my dog agrees he jumps at the chance to put it on and even let's me put the hood up.
