    Hydration a must

    I am very pleased with this purchase although some of my cats know how to unhook the bowl from the cage, and spilled the water. These bowls are still much better than what I was working with previously.

    Not what I needed

    Pros: Easy to clean, easy to hang on wire kennel. Cons: Does not stay hanging, smaller than imagined. I ordered the 2 pack 4 cup bowls, and while I read the dimensions, and felt that it might be small, I did not realize how small they would be. The bowls barely held 1.5 cups of food. I ordered the 2 pack 4 cup bowls, and while I read the dimensions, and felt that it might be small, I did not realize how small they would be. The bowls barely held 1.5 cups of food. I needed a hanging bowl for my dogs' wire kennels that was easy enough to remove when not feeding. I attached the hanging piece, and placed the bowl in, and as soon as one dog started eating, the whole thing fell off the wire bars. The other dog managed to get halfway through his meal, before knocking his off, just from trying to eat from the bowl. I had read some reviews that made it sound like the animals knocked the bowl off from coming under the bowl, and thought "well, yeah if they come from under the bowl it could easily come off." My dogs however were being pretty gentle and just trying to eat from the bowls. They were very cautious because they don't normally eat from stainless steel bowls. Both of my dogs are 65-70 pounds each, so I'm think this might be better for a smaller dog. … more
