About Frisco Elevated Pet Beds

A Throne of Their Own

A Throne of Their Own

With Frisco's Elevated Pet Bed, your pup will be living the life of luxury in a bed fit for royalty. It's a comfy, cool spot for him to rest his paws after a long day of tail chasing, spirited barking, and fetching anything and everything for his owner. Whether it's dozing off in the backyard, curling up inside by the couch or hanging out on the porch, furry family members can do it all in the comfort of their very own throne.

Strong and Durable Design

Frisco's Cot-Style Bed features a solid design from top to bottom. The powder-coated steel frame helps keep the bed stable and safely elevated. And the PVC-coated, fabric sleeping surface supports your pet without sagging—even after long-term use. To keep the bed from sliding when your dog jumps on or off, it's equipped with skid-resistant feet for better stability.

House Nappers and Outdoor Loungers

Wherever you go, your pet wants to go. Which is great, because the Frisco Elevated Pet Bed is easy to assemble and break down for transport. You can set it up next to your favorite arm chair, take it on camping trips, or let your sidekick sprawl out poolside. This versatile bed stays grounded no matter where you place it, and the non-porous surface can be wiped clean after being outdoors.

Staying Clean and Cool

Beds that sit on the ground are vulnerable to dirt and don't allow pets to cool down. The Frisco Elevated Pet Bed lifts your doggy pal off of wet, muddy grass to keep him clean and cool, especially on rainy or hot days. That's good news for dogs with thick fur that tend to get overheated. Air can flow right through the fabric, so your pet will be feeling the breeze (or chilling in the AC).

Elevated for Comfort

Keeping your pet off hard floors and rough outdoor surfaces can ease the stress on your trusty tail wagger's joints, especially in his golden years. Instead of lying down on an uncomfortable hardwood or cement floors that can cause calluses, he'll rest easy on his comfy snoozing spot. And because it sits inches above the ground, it's easier for older pets to hop on or off.

  • Great Bed For Night or Day!

    By on

My two dogs loved their beds and took a right to them. We are at the point of the year where we have 40º temperature swings, and it is effortless to move the beds inside and out. On cold nights, I have an electric heater that sits in front of them, just out of view in the forward part of the picture, which sends warm air above and below the bed. They sleep like angels (which they are not)! I did have the threaded sleeve insert on one crossbar (D) break, but honest; I think this is on me. I was lowering the bed to the floor, and one of my dogs jumped on it before I had set it down. The insert sleeve that surrounds the nut cracked. I was lowering the bed to the floor, and one of my dogs jumped on it before I had set it down. The insert sleeve that surrounds the nut cracked. The twisting motion of the dog's impact caused it, but I corrected that (with kindness), and my dogs now sit until I'm ready for them. The break might possibly be on me as when the instructions say "tighten," I do. I think I might have overtightened them, I had not considered the plastic insert and might have cracked it. I was able to Gorilla Glue sleeve together and it held while a new bed arrived. Spare stuff is a good thing with two rambunctious ranch dogs. My crossbar repair failed after a week, but the new bed had arrived in two days, and I pulled the crossbar from the box. I think I will mate that tube with a hardwood dowel and save it as a spare as well! A final point concerning the beds. Combined, I have 120 to 130 pounds of dog, and it is not uncommon for me to find both in a single bed. I didn't think about this, but they have held up. These are rescue dogs and as the days go by they are not as prone to sleeping together as they were when I first brought them home. If you own several dogs, consider their total weight if they like "dening" up at night. … more

  • Perfect for Fluffy Fur Babies!

    By on

I have a German/maligator mix and a German shepherd. My GSD was not a fan of the orthopedic bed I got him because he got hot within 5 min of laying on it so he would lay on the floor and constantly move because he wasn't comfortable. With this bed he sleeps like a baby and does not get hot. My mix loves pillows and blankets. Her large bed I got from chewy fits on top of this large bed. Comfortable and they look good too.

  • Thanks to other reviewers

    By on

Yes, the fourth leg was a bit of a bear by myself and I needed my husband’s assistance but the rest of it was extremely easy ( I was prepared, thanks to other reviewers). And I am a klutz! My older shepherd looks at me with grateful eyes. I put their beds on top ( it is winter now) . The younger shepherd does , at times, get a little spooked when it moves but she is learning. Again, thanks to previous reviewers for noting that. I give it 5 stars - great quality for the price point, looks good, easy to assemble if someone can help with that last leg, one dog loves it, the other likes it. Think they will really appreciate it when it gets hot.

  • Great purchase!

    By on

I just received this item, assembly took all but 5 minutes! Frame and mat are of good quality and instructions were clear. Putting this bed together is a breeze. I bought it for one of my older beagles who is not able to jump, or climb, up on their couch anymore. This bed is low enough and she can step up on it with ease. I bought the Medium size so one of the other beagles can snuggle up with her and two beagles fit easily on this size. So far she loves it. Happy beagle = happy me :)!

  • Not completely satisfied

    By on

After reading the reviews, I thought I’d give this a try given the good price. It’s ok, but definitely needs a much lower weight limit. My dog is only 45 lbs and already the bed seems to be bowing a bit after only having been used for a couple of weeks. Many times I have to push the inside bars back together because they come undone. I’m hoping if we reinforce it a bit, it will work better, but don’t feel that we should have to. Definitely wouldn’t purchase again.

  • Mainly LOVE this product

    By on

I was skeptical about this product just because my puppy chews EVERY SINGLE BED OR BLANKET EVER. ALWAYS. She was in her cage when we are not home without beds or bedding due to that, so i decided to try this to make her just a bit more comfortable. She hasn't chewed it, actually lays on it, and seems to like it! Plus 20 bucks is cheap. I recommend! the only downside i've noticed so far is it is barely to big for her cage so it slants a bit weird.

  • Awsome bed

    By on

Got 2 of these babies on sale, for our very pampered pooches. They are easy to put together, and the cover is very sturdy, easy to just hose off when it needs to be cleaned. I bought 2 large ones, the dogs didn't seem interested when first bought, but today I made them lay on them, so they didn't get in the way of work we were doing, and they liked them!! One dog is Healer and Husky about 45lbs. & the other is Mastiff and Bulldog about 88lbs.

  • Hard to set up but works well

    By on

I laughed at myself when I struggled to set this bed up. I remember reading all the reviews that complained about how hard the assembly was. I guess they are true but it just takes some figitting around. The product itself is great. My dog doesn’t really sleep on it yet. Probably cuz it’s January and he doesn’t feel the need to stay cool. I’m currently using it for “place” training and can say the bed is pretty sturdy.

  • Decent bed for the price

    By on

I'm neither here nor there with this product. For the price it's definitely worth trying out. I purchased large I believe based off the weight it holds. It doesn't seem very sturdy. The only thing that gives me comfort if it does collapse is that it's only a few inches off the ground. The large is too big but was the only one that would hold my 80 pound dogs. Kuranda is definitely a much better quality bed but is 4-6 times the cost. Buy one of these to see if your pets like it then invest in a sturdier one! On a side note unfortunately this bed has already been chewed by one of my dogs, where the Kurandas are chew proof.

  • Larger Than Expected

    By on

As others have said, the bed is larger than I expected. It is truly big enough for a great dane. I have a Golden Retriever a another dog just a bit smaller an they both could seriously fit onto one bed. But I have two and they both love them. They prefer an old blanket on top. It is really great since one of them is about 15 years old. It is low to the ground and he won't hurt himself getting in and out of it.
