Calie loved this toy, and I was so happy I finally bought something she was going to enjoy. A few days after purchasing it I noticed my cat threw up what looked like tape with a lot of mucus around it. I wondered where it came from and thanked God she didn't choke. Today I picked a blanket up off the couch and shook it. I saw something full off of it. It was one of the clear round plastic circles that are used to cover up the piece of cardboard that you insert in the slots. It was partially ripped and had teeth marks all over it. I went to the cat tent and looked at the plastic that's on the slots and noticed that different ones were coming off in different areas. I want other cat owners to know and be aware so something terrible doesn't happen to your fur baby. I'm grateful nothing happened to mine that I'm aware because this incident happened this past week. I've have taken all the loose plastic circles off of the toy now. I've included pictures and videos. She really enjoyed the cat tent. I loved watching her enjoy the cat tent.
This thing is horrible. It’s easy to tear it when trying to assemble. Assembly is frustrating to say the least. It does not stay together when your cats start touching it. Parts of it were torn by the end of the first day. It might be ok for very small kittens but it’s to small for an average cat. I honestly have NOTHING good to say. It’s trash , literally.
I got this for my cat who kept getting in the dogs carrier. She seemed to want a cave. She immediately investigated it. Unfortunately, she is a Ragdoll and weighs 16 pounds and couldn’t fit comfortably through the door. We were both disappointed. I might cut the opening bigger.
Easy to set up and my cats love it. The bottom is a cardboard scratcher, which is popular with my cats. And my littlest ones love hopping through the tent. It would be a bit small for a large cat.
Really disappointed in this one! The “bottom,” which is the scratcher…is TOO SMALL to fit properly on the frame. So, it sits freely on the floor. With the “tent” just placed over it. Making the tent, not very durable. It’s easily bent out of shape, etc.
It was easy to put together and Rex needed something new. He went in right away and gave it a paw’s up! I bought 2, one for his friend Binkie’s 18th birthday this week!
My kitty loves this this house. Although she doesn't use the scratching floor so I put a kitty cushion on it and it's become her little Casita.
Got a new kitten for company for my other 5 yr old. Both can fit inside! They are having a ball
Unfortunately, this cat house isn't durable. It's assembled by slots and tape. It didn't last 2 days. My cat isn't overly active, but the cat tent couldn't handle him. Oh well, at least it's not an expensive item.
My Cat Sam, Loves this. He loves laying, he fell asleep in it.
