I purchased the extra small and plan to use it for rats. It will be big enough to take them all home in, and it will fit one full sized male, but I had intended to use it for all of them at once if I needed to take them to the vet so they could have company. But it'll be useful and it’s built sturdy so I don’t have too many worries. The ventilation would be too big for mice or hamsters unless you added mesh.

I felt a little uneasy using this carrier. It just feels a bit flimsy and the top lid didn’t match up correctly.

Great for a small rodent or bird seems pretty sturdy just add a small towel

This carrier is perfect for small critters. I'd definitely recommend buying one to bring your pets to the vet in.

It is the perfect size for my Guinea! It has enough room for him to be comfy but is still small enough to travel with! It can be buckled in a car to keep my piggy safe :) You can attach a bottle to it, just make sure to measure the space you want to put it! I made the mistake of not measuring and had to drill a hole... I definitely recommend the carrier!

I have many rats; I ordered two of these a week ago and one came broken. Customer service was quick to send a replacement and boy do these work wonders when I'm cleaning! Absolutely perfect for travel, too. The only thing I don't quite like is the handles--I wish they were somehow more sturdy. You have to be careful that you have no babies who chew, because otherwise that plastic would be GONE. Bigger than expected as well.

My chinchillas were arguing so had to get separate carriers for them till they get back together again. Both of these worked really well on our road trip to mom and dad’s for Thanksgiving. They seemed to feel comfortable and relaxed in them. One large carrier is big enough for one chinchilla with room to spare. I liked that the lid is the top part of the carrier. Only issue was when trying to get the chins in I had to hold up the lid or it would slam down real fast as it doesn’t really stay up on it’s own while holding it so the chinchilla could jump in. Otherwise, a great purchase and loved the price!

I was worried this would be too small for my 2 ratties, but I was very pleased once I received my package. It's ample space for two 3 month old male rats. They aren't huge but are pretty big. I also like that the carrier opens from the top. There is plenty of space for them together. Working on introducing them at the moment for a moving trip next month.

We love the compact size of this carrier. Just right. We already have a larger one. Fits everywhere. Thanks.
