We used this carrier to transport Mildred, a chicken, to her new home, and she pooped during the drive to the farm. It was easy clean up- and no worries she is vhappy at her new home. Also we found a rat snake in the coop who had swallowed a ceramic egg, and we put him this carrier until he spit it out and then released him. The way the carrier is designed made it easy to lower the snake down in there (using a pole) and close the lid quickly. The same with Mildred, I placed her in there and kept one hand on her and closed the lid. And because she could see out and there are so many ventilation slits she didn’t feel panicked.
