I wasn’t sure how my dog would feel about this toy but she loves it. She actually pulls each of the raccoons out of the garbage can toy. Also, I can hide a milk bone in the bottom of the toy which really drives her crazy: she doesn’t want those stinking raccoons to get the milk bone! Hahaha!
This was on clearance and I got it just to get the free shipping. WELL!!! Turns out that my dog is obsessed with it. It has very quickly become her favorite toy! She is a Great Dane and so it's slightly more difficult to get the toys out, but that is good, because then she gets thinking! We hide some small treats in there too for added interest.
My young dog loved this toy, especially because you can stuff the raccoons inside the trashcan and it makes for added effort. Unfortunately, the trashcan itself did not survive his devoted attention, as he's prone to chewing. But the raccoons are still wandering around the house, and holding up so far.
My son Bought this for our Morkie puppy that's about to turn 2 . Well the little racoons didn't last 48hrs. The first night he had chewed a opening to where he could get to the squeaker and had pieces of plastic from it in his throat . Had to do the finger swipe on him to clear it all out. They are a cute toy but they are not well put together.
This has become my second favorite toy. I love working to get the raccoons out of the trash can. Every dog should have one!
For some reason I was expecting this to be a little larger (that's on me), but my dog loves it! This is a good value and I will probably buy the refill for it as well.
I have a 60lb hyper Staffordshire terrier and an 8olb senior lab mix. I've never purchased these kinds of toys before but they love it! They have destroyed other toys but not these, they actually surprisingly use them appropriately. My staffie is the kind of dog that brings sticks in the house and chews them apart but surprisingly these are untorn and lasting, she seems to enjoy the squak. She has many other toys that I think with her options she doesn't have to destroy these. Anywho, I think it's cute when both my lady dogs get excited and decide to pull the lil toys out of the toy holding the rest. I highly recommend, it's good for their mind.
After 2 weeks, these little critters and the trash can are still in one piece and both dogs love playing with it. We have an 18pd Puggle and 50pd Lab/?? mix. The little Raccons have traveled outside for play time and even the cat enjoys playing with them in the can. This is the second hide-n-seek toy I've bought since the holidays, but definitely their favorite out of the two. I like that you can purchase replacement Raccoons as well!!
My five pound pup loves this toy, maybe loves it a little too much as he likes to umm wrestle the trash can part. He really likes to get the toys out on his own and play with just the raccoons.
The raccoons are only 4 inches tall, not 7. Too small for large dogs. Could choke on them.
