The Best Customer Service Ever!!
I had a missing item in my order. I contacted chewy by chat. I have never had such a good experience. Super fast and easy. They looked up my order number. The whole process was so smooth and fast. They were the most helpful, considerate and nice customer service I have ever dealt with. They even asked pleasantry questions about my cats. I thought that was really thoughtful. This cat carrier is very nice too and good quality. I love the two doors. Very helpful.
Just Ok
It's very dark grey, not as light as pictured. Don’t use it for flying! Even as a carry-on, I wouldn't recommend (reasons below) It is fairly difficult to assemble, I was expecting easy, just set 1 piece on top of the other & snap the locks with the door in place, but it took me at least 20 minutes for each carrier maybe more (I bought 3). I could have easily pulled the front door right out with barely any effort, so I put in the 4 bolts they send if you're using it for flying. Those make it much more sturdy, but only for the normal vet visits or quick moves from point A to point B. This carrier is by no means strong enough to withstand a small drop or big bump in an airplane cargo area. I also would not recommend this specific carrier for an adult cat that "freaks out" because I don't believe it's sturdy enough. The 2-door design is a life changer with a stressed-out cat who hates carriers, but I don't have a lot of confidence in the sturdiness of this particular carrier, unfortunately. I think an animal banging around in the carrier to get out could actually get out. I do love the design of the latching mechanisms on the doors. They are easy to use. I also love the size for an average cat. It's roomy but not massive & heavy.

My kitty is too big for the 19 inch kennels, yet swims in the 24 inch size. I searched high and low until I found this kennel. It assembles easily. The door latches work well. I wanted the top load option for trips to the vet.
Super hard to put together and door isn’t seamless to open
The assembly was extremely tough and the instructions were not super helpful. The base has to fit inside of the top, not lining up the pieces for anyone putting it together. Also working in the veterinary field, having a carrier that you can’t easily take apart (for spicy cats) is a negative for sure and with the bolts it’s difficult since you need a screw driver to do so. The door opens nicely but in order to close the carrier you have to wiggle it to fit back in. I mean it’s going to work for what you want it to - to contain your cat, but I would recommend to spend a bit extra to get one that can come apart easier (to make your veterinary team happy) and has a better door. Good thing I’ll be using this on a friendly kitty.
Very Nice Cat Kennel
The kennel was very easy to put together. I gave it only 3 stars because the top didn't always close easily until I worked with it a bit. My cat Molly's first trip to the vet in this carrier went fine, so I was pleased.
Perfect for tiny Yorkie puppy!
I love that this kennel opens from both the front and top. Makes it very easy to remove her for late night potty breaks.
