Description

Think an eco-friendly litter isn’t tough on litter box odors? Sniff again! This litter is made with a renewable blend of corn and wheat that’s friendly for the environment, with a patented odor-blocking technology that helps keep ammonia from forming—so it’s friendly for your nose, too. That means a fresher smelling litter box without any chemicals or added fragrances. Liquid messes have met their match—it clumps up to three times stronger than other alternative litters for easy scooping. It’s low dust for less mess and provides environmentally-conscious odor control for one or many kitties in your home.

Key Benefits
  • Patented odor-blocking technology uses natural wheat and corn to help keep odor-causing ammonia from forming.
  • Clumps up to 3X stronger than leading alternative litters for easy scoop and clean.
  • Fights odors naturally with no chemicals, added fragrances, scents or dyes. Perfect for single or multi-cat homes.
  • 100% USDA Certified Biobased Product—eco-friendly formula is made with renewable blend of corn and wheat.
  • Low dust means less mess when it comes time to scoop and clean the litter box.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Transition Instructions

Some cats may require assistance in adjusting to a new litter. Begin with 1 inch of Frisco Litter covered with 2 inches of the previous litter product. Do not mix the layers - your cat will do this when pawing and covering. Gradually add less old litter each time you change the litter pan. Most casts will comfortably adjust to the new litter after 3 to 4 changes.

    It works great!

By CatMom on Feb 21, 2021

I use it for 2 cats and it works great! There is no dust, it absorbs & clumps great due to cats cover when done. I clean their boxes morning and night daily & have not noticed any lack of odor control. I love it, my cats use it I would say it’s worth a try if you don’t like litter dust on everything:)

    Works well for my rabbits

By catladywithdogs on Dec 16, 2020

I bought this litter for my rabbits because it's natural, low dust, and claimed to clump and help keep odors at Bay. Rabbit urine stinks. Their poop is entirely odorless but the urine could clear a room after it's sat for about a day or 2. Buying litter for rabbits can get expensive because most natural litters are expensive and don't clump which means they can't be scooped and most just don't have the odor control to last for more than a couple days. Not to mention rabbits pee in one spot. Which means a natural litter can easily be turned to mush before a week is over. Ive been in search of a litter that works this well for over 2 years. I can't say how it would preform with cats but for my I bought this litter for my rabbits because it's natural, low dust, and claimed to clump and help keep odors at Bay. Rabbit urine stinks. I can't say how it would preform with cats but for my rabbits it's a win. With daily scooping the past 2 weeks I've found that this litter clumps well for a natural litter which makes it scoopable and virtually waste free. That's not to say the clumps are solid. They aren't. They are soft clumps but they hold together enough for me to lightly shake out the clean litter from my scoop. The litter itself has somewhat of an odd smell but it's not a bad smell and it's not noticable to me unless I'm cleaning the box or refilling it and it's the only odor aside from the smell of hay that I notice too. I smell no rabbit urine. This litter does have some dust. Its not bad but it is there. All in all I would highly recommend this litter and plan to continue buying it. … more

    works good!

By Andi on Jan 3, 2021

I explored non clay options because the litter refuse makes up most of the weight of my garbage. I was looking for a natural litter (I know, clay IS natural, but it's heavy) that I could dump in the woods. This litter works quite well... it clumps very well, and very surprising to me, has good odor control. I DO scoop every day having 3 cats using 1 box. I am on my 2nd bag and have no complaints.

    Kitty litter

By Kera on Mar 6, 2021

Very absorbent with #1 and does mask the smell of #2. However it is easily tracked outside of the box and can be a bit cumbersome to scoop out if you don't manage it daily.

    not what i expected

By frisco on Feb 10, 2021

I've been using non clumping corn, and ordered this by mistake. It sticks to the bottom of the litter box, unlike the non clumping corn, wheat or walnut. Sp im going back to those products.

    Works great for us

    By JJ789 on Dec 14, 2020

Here at our sanctuary with several hundred cats. We have used Tiny Cat scoopable for years. But after suspecting that its causing health problems in so many cats, we ditched it. Thankfully, we received a pallet of this stuff as a donation. I was skeptical at first. But decided to try it. The past few months, it has worked great. Less odor. No dust. And no respiratory problems in the cats. Its amazing that this stuff does what it does.

    It's okay, but..

    By PZF56 on Dec 24, 2020

Got this for my rabbit's litter box. Don't love it. It works ok, but the clumps are not as "clumpy" as I would like and it does not control odor as well as the other wood pellet litter I had used. Maybe I should try the rest in my cats litter box which is in the basement. Might be better suited for that as it is marketed as cat litter. But thinking clumping issue will be the same with cats.

Horrible - black cat leaves box looking grey

By BlackCatMom on Nov 12, 2020

I was hopeful this litter would be great since it is all natural and advertised as low dust, but that couldn’t be further from accurate. My cat used this litter twice and not only did the clumps break up into tiny pieces that were nearly impossible to scoop, but he comes out of the box looking like he’s been to burning man with grey legs and tail from all the dust & needing a total wipe down. As if that wasn’t annoying enough, this stuff gets EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately, I will be throwing out this huge bag that I just opened and looking for something different.

    still in the hunt

By funmomma on Sep 29, 2020

I was trying this formula as an option in my eco-friendly litter choices. I have used the walnut for years but was looking for different away from the 'dark shade'. Frisco corn&wheat just not absorb and does not clump enough for my expectations. The smell is not my expectations either, it has an odd smell to me also. Sorry, I was trying but will be going back to the trusty walnut.

Clumps, but I don't love the smell

    By catgal68 on Oct 17, 2020

Tried this as an alternative to our usual eco clumping litter. It clumps well, but doesn't mask the smells as well as our usual. Not bad, but not terrific either.
