Description

Think an eco-friendly litter isn’t tough on litter box odors? Sniff again! This litter is made with a renewable blend of corn and wheat that’s friendly for the environment, with a patented odor-blocking technology that helps keep ammonia from forming—so it’s friendly for your nose, too. That means a fresher smelling litter box without any chemicals or added fragrances. Liquid messes have met their match—it clumps up to three times stronger than other alternative litters for easy scooping. It’s low dust for less mess and provides environmentally-conscious odor control for one or many kitties in your home.

Key Benefits
  • Patented odor-blocking technology uses natural wheat and corn to help keep odor-causing ammonia from forming.
  • Clumps up to 3X stronger than leading alternative litters for easy scoop and clean.
  • Fights odors naturally with no chemicals, added fragrances, scents or dyes. Perfect for single or multi-cat homes.
  • 100% USDA Certified Biobased Product—eco-friendly formula is made with renewable blend of corn and wheat.
  • Low dust means less mess when it comes time to scoop and clean the litter box.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Transition Instructions

Some cats may require assistance in adjusting to a new litter. Begin with 1 inch of Frisco Litter covered with 2 inches of the previous litter product. Most casts will comfortably adjust to the new litter after 3 to 4 changes.

    Does have awful smell

    By on

I was trying to save a few dollars so instead of ordering their grass clumping liter (which works great) I ordered this. I didn't notice the "Naturally scented" wording on it and not sure why I didn't see it but that scent is awful. It smells like bug killer perfume. I dumped out the liter box the next day because my cats were not thrilled about it either and went back to the grass liter. It clumps some what but not as good as the grass liter. I am happy to pay a few more dollars for the grass liter.

    BEST LITTER EVER

    By on

This is the absolute best litter I've EVER tried. No residual tiny leftovers crumbs left over that won't sift. Fresh pleasant smell, very clean, clumps perfectly, no dust; the best part is how light it is, feather light, even after condensed by urine or feces. It slides off the floor and sides of your box ~ NO scrapping At All. I use large tuperware boxes. Far less expensive and larger than any kitty litterbox. The texture of that could help; but I highly highly doubt that. But I'm convinced it's the litter. I do not foresee a change of box any time soon, nor truly, change of litter for quite a bit of time; it's simple & very very clean. I am so happy to turn to eco- friendly and natural ingredients This is the absolute best litter I've EVER tried. No residual tiny leftovers crumbs left over that won't sift. Bought three; perfect price in lieu of any 40 lb. box from any store. 5+ stars. I cannot praise this litter enough. I do not nor any longer Hate cleaning the box, finally!! It's just so simple and literally, no chore at all. … more

    Life Saving Product!

    By on

We have three cats. One of the three has never liked the litter box. In the spring, summer and fall, he does his business outside, but in the winter, he prefers to use any sand that has collected on the garage floor to the litter box. He will scrape the sand into a small pile and then go right on top of it. But we were constantly having to clean up these little piles he would leave and it was smelly so we had to find a solution. I finally tried to fill a litter box with sand and he really liked that but it was such a pain to clean because sand does not clump. I also discovered that he prefers to have a large space so instead of using a litter box I switched to a large plastic under the bed We have three cats. I saw this product on chewy and decided to try it to see if I could use it to replace the sand. I mixed it with sand at first to get him used to it and now he loves it. It clumps great too. Our other cats (who never had any issue with regular litter) seem to prefer it too because the regular litter box is mostly unused now and the three of them all use this one! Great product and we love that it is natural. We were really getting desperate so this was truly a life saver for us (and more particularly for our cat). … more

This sticks to everything and doesn't sift

    By on

This is awful, it sticks to the litterpan, cat feet and the sifter, Then it doesn't sift, you have to shake really hard to get it to start sifting. It doesn't clump well either, it falls apart making it take longer than usual to sift the litter.

Works great with our picky cats!

    By on

We have tried several pine/clay/other brands and this is by far the favorite for me and the two cats. My cats hate strong scents and are picky with the texture - I wanted to get a litter with less dust due to urinary issues with one cat and so far we have done really well with the switch! Clumps well, easy to scoop, controls odors - ticks all the boxes.

    Another win for Frisco litter

    By on

I have tried several Frisco brand litters and liked them all so when I saw the new corn and wheat formula I was curious. My litter "must haves" are fragrance-free, clay-free (lighter weight), low dust and at least semi-clumping. This litter met all of those requirements. I think it is unfair to expect cat litter to control odor, the key is frequent scooping and since I loathe scented litters this one is more than adequate. My kitties seem to like it and the tracking isn't any worse than other similar natural material litters.

    What a surprise !

I truly thought all corn litters were the same. This combination really works. It is almost dust free and the odor suppression is amazing. I am greatly appreciative that your staff recommended frisco. thank you

    great natural litter

    By on

I only use natural clumping litters in my house. I’ve used several different brands of both wheat and corn litters. I have 7 cats, with 3 boxes... sometimes don’t get them cleaned as diligently as I should. What I will say, is that this works to keep the clumps together better than really either of those that I have used. Not as gluey as wheat, and better clumping than corn. There is some tracking, but no worse than most other natural litters.
