A litter that absorbs liquids three times faster and is eco-friendly doesn’t just look good on paper—it is paper! These non-clumping pellets are made of 95% post-consumer recycled paper with added baking soda to combat litter box odors. Because it absorbs liquids faster, lingering odors don’t have a chance to stick around. You and kitty get a fresher smelling litter box without any of those chemicals or added fragrances. It’s dust-free so you can breathe easy and skip the messes while you scoop. For one kitty or all the felines in your home.
Eco-friendly cat litter is made with 95% post-consumer recycled paper, and has non-clumping pellets that combat odors without any chemicals or added fragrances.
Absorbs messes 3X faster than other paper litter to help keep the litter box fresh and help guard against lingering odors, with daily scooping.
Dust-free means less mess when it comes time to scoop and clean the litter box. Plus, it comes in a resealable bag for easy storage.
Added baking soda boosts this litter’s odor-protection power instead of just covering them up.
Perfect for single or multi-cat homes.
Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.
Add approximately 4 inches of Frisco cat litter to a clean, dry litter box (this allows your cats to dig and cover their waste naturally).
Scoop out waste daily, using a curved, slotted litter scoop. Throw away waste.
Add more Frisco cat litter as necessary to maintain a depth of 4 inches.
Only dispose of used cat litter in trash. Do not flush, bury or dispose of it outdoors, in gutters or storm drains to avoid environmental contamination.
Not for internal use. Not meant for use as compost or as a traction aid.
Store in a cool, dry place. Product filled by weight; some settling may occur.
For first time users, we recommend a gradual switch to our product. Start with 2/3 of your old cat litter and 1/3 of your new Frisco Litter. Over time, continue to add more of the Frisco Brand until your cat box has fully transitioned to this product.
Where is Frisco Unscented Recycled Paper Cat Litter made?
This litter is made in the USA of 95% post-consumer recycled paper.
Does this litter clump?
Frisco Paper litter is non-clumping.
Is this litter scented?
This litter is unscented and features baking soda to reduce litter box odors.
Is this non-clumping litter compatible with a sifting litter box or an automatic cleaning litter box?
No, paper pellets are too large for a sifting or self-cleaning box to work effectively.
What is the approximate size of each pellet?
Paper pellets are typically sized between 1 ½” length – 1 ¾” length.
Is this litter flushable?
Since paper pellets swell when saturated and could cause septic system blockage, we would not recommend flushing.
This is better than Yesterday's News hence I like it. While it does a better job than Yesterday's News, I sometimes can still smell the urine even though I clean the waste. Currently I mix this litter with a tofu litter. The tofu litter helps a lot to mask the smell. I know I am not supposed to mix different types of litter, but the combination works fine for me. However the tofu litter is expensive, I may still need to find an alternative.
It's a no go.

I've used paper pellet litter for year for my gang of 10. I thought I would give this a try. The pellets break down very very fast. It isn't as good as the brand that I've used for years and is much more expensive.
Cat liter purchase

Not a fan of this liter. I was told that this would be best for a kitten potting training. Not and wet newspaper is not a pleasant smell. I use Worlds Best before with my other cat and went back to this brand of kitty liter. I swear by this. Chewy is the best. 1st it’s a money saver and being disabled to have all my kitty products delivered without worries. Thx Chewy.
I definitely love it.

I love that is recycled. I love that is dust free and that leave the littler pretty clean when you dump it. The only thing is that the pieces of paper are to big and it makes it har to clean daily. But I love it!
Does the job for rabbits
on Jun 27, 2020
I use this litter for my rabbits as unscented paper pellets are one of the recommended types of litter for them. It does the job well and I have to change the litter pan ~3-4 days with 2 rabbits sharing the same litter pan which is pretty good for me. When comparing the price to other sites however, this one is a bit more pricey at $17 vs $15 at other competitors for the same size bag.
Too smelly for me
on May 31, 2020
I really wanted to love this litter. I've been using clay litter for a long time and have been on the hunt for something better. This litter smells bad by itself, even before use, the scent is unpleasant. Even with scooping frequently, after any 'use' my whole house is immediately filled with the smell of the soiled pellets. I had high hopes, and wont be ordering again. I've only been using it for 3 days and am already over it. I love Chewy though and will be adding a different kind to my autoship next time.
Good for 3 days...

I have 7 cats, 9 litter boxes, and this litter is good for 3 days before you have to dump the litter, and this includes scooping the poop daily. I like it because it is unscented, natural, and causes absolutely zero respiratory issues. There is no dust to complain about (I use a bowl to scoop it from bag to litter box), and I have no allergy issues with it. My cats also do not sneeze with this litter. The cons are it is a short lived litter, because it does not absorb or cover urine well, so a litter box will start to reek of ammonia in 3 days. I would buy paper litter again, for sure, even though it does get costly, because I have found no perfect litter, so I alternate between about 7 differentI have 7 cats, 9 litter boxes, and this litter is good for 3 days before you have to dump the litter, and this includes scooping the poop daily. As far as tracking goes, yes, some pellets do find their way outside the litter box, and occasionally even a poop if the cat kicks it out. But it is very easy to clean up. The pellets don't break down like pine litter, for example. So where it lacks absorbance, it makes up for with easy cleanup regarding tracking. If your cat suffers any diarrhea, as my 7 all are currently (I am waiting on results of a special test via the veterinary lab to determine if they have a protozoa or bacterial infection), it does make cleaning the litter boxes themselves somewhat difficult, because it does not clump and pellets are large, so you wind up having to scrub the pan afterwards. But it makes getting a fecal sample easy. I will buy this kind again.… more

My cats said no way!!

I was a little hesitant to purchase this litter since it is non-clumping, but I’ve been having an issue with one of my cats using the litter box, and I have been trying all sorts of different products. Neither of my cats will get into the litter box with this litter, and I have patiently waited about one week to see what would happen.
Great Cat Litter

I hesitate to add a glowing review because I'm afraid that by doing so will lead to a shortage. ;-)
