True to size!
For reference, my husky's measurements are Length: 21-23" (wasn't sure how far back to measure), Neck: 19", Chest: 29", Weight: 56lb. This puts her at the top of XXL and I was worried the dress might be tight. The XXL fit her very comfortably and looks great! I was a little disappointed to discover the sparkly skirt is actually just gold printed stars, but you can actually see this effect if you zoom into the picture so it's my bad for not looking closely (I purchased from my phone, but it should be obvious from a computer). The dress is attached with velcro down the middle so you don't have to worry about pulling it over your dog's head.

This dress is adorable! but my cat does not like it, she refuses to keep it on and always finds a way to take it off. also she walks awkwardly with it on
WAY too small
I bought a size large for my 55 pound pit-bull ended up fitting my small dog perfectly. It was way too small around the chest for my pit and shes normally a large

I was surprised and loved how the dress closes in the front. Plus, the "velvet" and poofy sleeves is adorable. Chewy has a great clothing line.

Too Tight!
I ordered my German shepherd an XXX Large size and she could barely fit in it! Too tight that even the Velcro couldn’t keep her in. Which is so unfortunate because she was so excited to wear this new Christmas dress..which came late and ended up coming in January.
