My bun girl loves this, I extend it with an xpen for more space, easy to set up and spacious for her at nighttime! Highly recommend this cage!
I absolutely love this cage So roomy my large Bun can still move around well in it even though most of the day he is free roam I also attached a small dog gate to the front with zip ties so he can come out there for extra room
I was torn between this cage and another but ultimately chose this one because of Chewy's response to a question about the wire bottom. It's been changed now, but at the time their response led me to believe I could put the replacement pan over the wire bottom. Lesson learned to take information they've provided with a grain of salt and hit up the reviews and customer responses instead. The pan absolutely will not fit inside the cage and now my Sugar Buns has taken to sleeping in her litter box. I've tried laying down other flooring materials and fleeces but she just isn't having it so my once tidy bunny is now a whole hot mess. I wasn't going to put the wheels on but ended up having no choice because the pan can only be pulled out at one end so I have to move the entire cage in order to access that particular end. A door added to the back of the cage or even being able to pull the pan out from the front would've been a better set-up. There's no exchange policy in place and I have nowhere else to safely house my bunny while I wait for the return to process and free up the funds to purchase the other cage. So for now I'm stuck with this frustrating cage and extra bunny clean-up.
This was a heavier item than I anticipated, and it was difficult to get out of the box. Once it was out, though, it was easy enough to assemble (the instruction booklet had a bit of comic relief), and my bunny has more room than I thought he would.
My bunny is obsessed with this , I leave cage open and she honestly loves staying in it she had her toys hanging all over and loves roaming all over her cage she also has a fluffy cat bed that fits perfectly inside
I bought the bigger cage obviously for one bunny. It's fairly large. It saves me cleaning time I can have some breathing room. The littler box and recycled paper helped too.
I love the size of this cage, but it does have to flaws. The first is that I didn't realize from the pictures that the plastic tray goes under the metal floor of the cage. For many rabbits-- including mine-- that doesn't do so well for their feet; the plastic tray is also too large to be put inside the cage instead. For now I've covered most of the metal floor with cardboard and other surfaces until I can find an inner tray that'll fit. If I'd realized the floor was like that, I would've gone with a large dog crate instead. The other flaw is more minor-- the top door of the cage is just very noisy when I'm trying to feed my bunny! I hate spooking him with his own cage. So yeah. GREAT size, but the floor won't be pleasant or even safe for every rabbit (mine is a dwarf lionhead...very small paws).
For the money this is perfect. I looked at more expensive and less expensive cages and picked this as a middle ground. Totally happy with the quality, the ease of assembly, and the size of the cage. I rehad small animal wildlife and have 3 squirrels inside and it is perfect!
This cage is basically a small dog crate with a wire bottom that can't be removed. For a Frisco brand product I am shocked by the poor quality. Had I known how cheaply made it was, I never would have purchased it. Now I'm going through a giant hassle to return it to get my money back. Save yourself the trouble and get a real cage!
Love this cage very easy setup, to clean and move around. Keep my Bunny out of their poop and pee. Just pull out the tray and clean. I line my with pee pad helps with clean up. I would recommend to anyone with little animals.
