One of the best toys!
I don't want to know how much money I have spent on cat toys in the past two years, so it is crazy that this toy has been one of their favorites. I got it as one of the birthday presents for my cats and they adore it. It is easily the most they have played with a teaser toy. This and the little plastic spring toys (which are also inexpensive) have been their favorites. I need to learn that the best cat toys are often the least expensive! Although I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for a motorized version of this one beause my arm gets tired after awhile lol.
Best Toy Ever!
I bought one of these almost 20 years ago, at the time I had 3 cats. They would go crazy for it. I was so happy to find it on Chewy! I used to rescue babies and I would play with them with this. Even if the things on the end fall off, they still Love the wire. I finally lost it and was bummed out. I now have a young Male cat and he too goes wild for it. I bought 1, then on another order I added 2, just so I know I will have it. When I initially bought it in a pet store it was just under $2.00, so its still inexpensive and is a lot of fun! If your lazy and they don't drag and swing it around, close one of the cardboard looking things in a drawer and they will play with it a long time. My cat drags it around, now that he figured out how to get it out of the drawer. I do play with it by moving it and swing it and he goes wild, they will jump high to get it, just like every cat that I have ever played it with. They love it if you move it or not!
Lazy fat cat toy
I am thrilled with it! My boy is overweight and recently diagnosed with kidney disease. He needs to eat better and exercise more. He is 14 and was never into playing or being active. My brother's fat cat loves this toy, so I decided to give it a try. Toulouse is still getting the hang of it, but where he would usually sit on the couch and occasionally bat at a string, he will now get off the couch and bat at this toy attentively for several minutes at a time. I even got him to spin a few circles before he got tired... baby steps lol
Cats love it
I could barely get this toy out of the wrapper because our cats were really excited. It has several cardboard pieces at the end that they love jumping and batting at. It’s better made than some similar type toys I have purchased over the years. Will purchase again to have an extra handy. Even the old kitty went for this toy!
Most bang for your buck
Jeff loved this toy so much that the little rolled paper bits started becoming frayed and falling apart. I'm ordering multiple this time around so we have back up and I can bring them to friends' kitties too! They're so affordable, and a very minimal plastic-free design, why not!
Most entertaining toy I’ve ever purchased!
I can’t believe how much my cat loves this toy. He will flip over himself and run all over to follow the bouncing wire around. I’ve probably spent $80-100 on string toys, catnip toys, and tunnels since adopting my cat a year ago - who could’ve known a $2 toy would’ve been the best one yet?!! Yes the cardboard gets old and torn up eventually if you have a more active cat like mine that wants to tear the little pieces apart - but for $2 every couple months for hours of entertainment, it is SO so worth it. So many hours of fun and it makes every guest laugh when they see how much he jumps around for this toy. :)
Unbelievably goofy great
A Chewy representative told me about this toy. My cats have baskets filled with toys plus all the stuff on the floor. My newer adopted adult found this and went crazy with it. First I played with him then I left it wrapped around the legs of a chair. You can hear him at nighttime flipping it all over the place. For the price it's great. Getting another.
They went nuts for this!
I needed something additional to add to my order to qualify for free shipping, I have so many different wands so I figured I'd give this a try. Oh boy, do they love this. They flip over trying to get this and chase it when I run with it and are way more active trying to get this than any wand I have. Great addition especially if you need a few dollars to reach that free shipping threshold!
Both cats LOVE this
I have a 13 year old cat I thought didn't like playing anymore, and a 4 year old cat who won't stop playing. They bring this toy to me every morning to play!! It looks strange, and a little simple, but once you get the hang of waving it around, they go CRAZY!
Every other cat thought this was the best!
My other 4 cats, over the decades, thought this toy was the best! They even learned how to open the drawer that I kept it in. They would sleep on it. But I recently adopted a 14-year-old cat, who is a doll but doesn't have any interest in cat toys. So I bought this toy, thinking surely he'd like this one. He swatted at it, but then hid under the couch; it terrified him! I still recommend it-- great exercise!
