Our little hamster tends to want to chew on the bars of her metal cage so we are always searching for new things to get her chewing on something besides her cage. I came across these wooden grapes and thought this would do the trick. At first, she investigated them but wouldn't chew on them. She does the same thing with her wooden sticks straight out of the packaging. So what I do is put the wooden chew toys in her bag of food for a few days so they'll pick up the smell of her food. Then, I place them in her cage. That's when she chews on them. I did the same with the grapes, and she chews on them constantly now. The leaves did come off the first day and she does not chew on them. Instead, she carries them inside her wooden house and sleeps with them. It's the cutest thing.
My bunnies love this. I was so surprised of how this has giving the bunnies a good lasting impression. It's very durable I did have to clean it a few times due to it getting wet in the pin of urine and hay. They seems to want to pull it in the hay and poop pale. Glad I took the picture before hand. I really wished it would have had a hole in the woof stem to hang so that it give them a more active approach but I guess chewing and biting is close to the same mechanism which that's what it's for. I honestly would purchase more of the products all because they are made with natural resources and wouldn't harm your pet. Please try this your pet is going to love it.
I got this about a month ago and used it alittle different than its intended purpose. I hung it from my cat tree. The Frisco Wooden Grape Vine Small Pet Chew Toy was the perfect teether and toy for my new kitten. He would play with it while climbing up and down the tree. He would, also, chew on it to help him teeth. It is harmless to pets, so there is no worry there.
I got this for my hamster. I didn’t notice the measurements so this is a bit big for her but still has areas that she can chew. So far she just uses it to climb around on. It’s very cute in her cage, which is pretty large, and this gives her something else to interact with. I do hope she chews on it at some point. You can’t beat the price of this for the size it is for sure. Would be great for guinea pigs and rabbits.
I received this as a sample product. This 2as the cutest, Simplist toy for small animal. They actually interacted with it for awhile. I've tried others and they just never seemed interested. Now they are actually active.
this toy is perfect for bunnies! Very well-made, so cute, and my bunny adores it. Instant favorite from the first time she got it! Would love to see more wooden toys just like this for bunnies :) thanks Chewy!
This toy did not last long and had small parts that broke off. Definitely not safe in a home with small kids or smaller pets. I also noticed a strong chemical odor which makes me wonder if it was safe.
I bought this about a month ago and it was so cute! It really looks like a little bunch of grapes. As soon as my dog saw it he was in love, his favorite chewies are wood, and as such he didn't give up on it until he had removed the stick from the grapes
good for any kind of small animal. i got this for my sisters bunny but my cat found it and she loves it. i had to go back and buy another one for my sisters bunny because my cat claimed and loves the original one.
We got this toy a few weeks ago and the rabbit absolutely loves it! It’s made of wood mostly and she loves to chew on it. It also looks really cute compared to plain wood sticks laying around!
