Read All 2201 Positive ReviewsPretty easy to put together, seems sturdy

The crate itself seems sturdy, and I was able to put it together by myself. I had to slide a plastic bin up against the first side to hold it up, but I didn't need a 2nd person. I had to slide a plastic bin up against the first side to hold it up, but I didn't need a 2nd person. I got this crate for our German Shepherd who had hip replacement surgery yesterday and needs to stay pretty stationary while he recovers. While we wait for him to come home, our 130 lb Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd is trying it out (pic attached). He has plenty of room in the crate, and he is taller and longer than our GSD, so I know it will be a great recovery crate for him. I also got the pad for the bottom of the crate. The only thing I didn't like is that 2 or 3 of the panels were slightly bent (still able to be put together, but it made it more difficult). It seems like they were damaged in shipping, but my box wasn't damaged at all. However, all of the zip ties were cut, so it seems like maybe someone returned a crate that was damaged in shipping and then badly damaged panels were replaced, but ones with little or no damage were left. I don't know for sure if this is the case, but that's what it seems like. I need the crate for my dog who is coming home from the hospital tomorrow, so I made it work, but I would have considered returning it and asking for a replacement if I had more time. … more

It is HUGE
By FiddleDD on Jan 16, 2021
This crate is HUGE! It is perfect for a 140 pound dog BUT you will need help putting it together AND you should read the directions first. I've put other crates together before but these pieces are different because of their size and I needed the directions to do it.

Great Crate!
By GreatCrate on Jan 15, 2021
The instructions were easy to follow. It indicated two people were required to assemble and it definitely was helpful to have a second pair of hands. My dog loves sleeping in his crate at night!

Great Dane Hotel
By Annabelle on Jan 14, 2021
Sturdy and large enough for my Great Dane baby. Enough room to put his toddler mattress for comfort and he seems very happy! Assembly required for this kennel but it is easy enough to follow. This is NOT a travel crate as it’s 75lbs. Features two doors which is great.

Huge!! Love it for my long coat GSD
By ScotchDutch on Jan 12, 2021
I got this for my six month old German Shepherd puppy. I took an informal survey on a Facebook GSD group I'm in and more people suggested that I go with this one over the XL. I also wanted to buy his forever crate. It is not collapsible but is easy to put together. It is huge! My puppy is around 60 pounds and there is plenty of space for him.

Chewy is annoying
By Fred on Jan 11, 2021
Chewy is still sending emails after I unsubscribed twice. I bought this thing as a gift. I've never seen it out of the box, don't know if it's been assembled. I do know that chewy won't stop sending emails.
