I have a 6 month old pyrenees weighing in at a whoping 80ish lbs already. My big boy was too tall for his 36x22" crate by the end of 4 months and was uncomfortable ducking in and out of it. This replacement crate arrived last week. -Pros- Easy to assemble, one person can handle it Three latch I have a 6 month old pyrenees weighing in at a whoping 80ish lbs already. After assembling i could move it on my own around the house. (I'm small, 5'3", 100lbs) Flimsy, if you push on the walls with some force they give and slide under each other, but do not collapse. Not sure how long this crate would last if your large pup is an escape artist, they may be able to damage the structural integrity if they're upset enough... Altogether, great for my boy. He is comfortable in his new room, and has space to finish growing! … more

Luckily they were on the bottom of the crate which sits under the tray so hopefully they won't cause any problems with usage. However, since our order was also delayed in shipping, by the time it arrived, I had no choice but to use it as our dogs couldn't reasonably fit in their previous crates long enough to wait for a replacement to be sent. I guess my biggest frustration is that the quality was not as expected. … more

Good quality
By Jacq on Mar 5, 2021
This crate is a great quality. My only issue was having to put it together myself in my basement with low ceilings. It is super large and I am small ans I had to take ceiling tiles out in order to install the bars that hold the walls together ! Other than that I am very pleased with my purchase

It’s huge. St. Bernard big
By Terri on Feb 22, 2021
This thing is huge for the price. Instructions suck on putting it together. We will see how it handles my silver lab puppy who is a wrecking ball and comes in at 60 pounds at 6 months old. This is a 225 pound young man who crawled in the crate to show her it was ok. Lol no one was forced to crawl in this crate. No human or animal was harmed while taking this picture.

Holy smokes this is big
By Jess on Feb 20, 2021
If you’re looking at the 54” kennel. Be sure to measure your area at home so you have an idea of how gigantic this thing is! Totally wasn’t expecting this! But, my dogs love it!! My husband is 6’ 2 for reference lol

HUGE. Great and HUGE.
By SND1 on Feb 17, 2021
This crate is HUGE. Seriously, you read the measurements, you review the pictures, but nothing prepares you for how large this crate actually is! It's great! And perfect for my growing Great Dane. I Love that there are two doors so there is access no matter where you place the crate. I only wish it came with a divider....

Great crate
By MarleysMom on Feb 12, 2021
They crate is great for my new pup and the size is perfect so when he is fully grown I won’t have to purchase another one. The double door feature is nice and allows for easy access.

HUGE crate to get us prepared for our GD
By LifeWithPlatinum on Feb 7, 2021
We put together our 54” crate yesterday- it’s so spacious and seems sturdy. We followed the Chewys instruction video and it was super easy to put together. I only gave it 4 stars because our Great Dane puppy isn’t here yet to try it out- we have 2 weeks to go! #EXCITED
