My cats are getting older, wanting softer things. This is just a gravy, but neither would touch it. The orange one only eats chicken, doesn't like things mixed with his chicken i.e. chicken and beef entree, and he wouldn't eat this, just stared at the bowl. The tuxedo one who eats everything, walked away! Tried it with dry food too, but they didn't like that either. They're spoiled though. They like other things in the friskies packet lines however.
Actually, it's just broth - that's it. I got Gravy Lovers chicken feast for my cat, but there was hardly any gravy in the 24 pack I got! That's why my cat eats so well - the gravy. I got the Little Gravy packets to add to the chicken feast so I didn't have to just give it away. My cat really disliked it. It's just broth - not gravy!
My cat goes nuts for these. Whenever I grab one, she'll hear me shaking it and come running and scream at me until I pour it into her bowl. I also use them the lure her out from underneath the bed whenever I need to leave the house and these are the only things that work 100% of the time.
I thought this would be a great idea for my finicky cat. He only eats pate and strongly prefers chicken flavor. Sometimes it's dryer than others and he sucks the moisture off the food and then won't eat it. So I bought the gravy so he would eat the food left behind but it didn't work. He tastes it and walks away. It's still a great idea and worth a try but it didn't work for me.
I seem to always have one cat who is a problem to feed. Right now we it's Smudge. She doesn't drink enough & prefers dry food, so I am on the lookout for a way to get more fluid in her. I've tried several canned foods, but she only licks out the gravy, and seems to know that if she just doesn't eat I will eventually get out the kibble. I finally started mixing this with some wet food and it worked--she eats it all! Sometimes it is harder to take care of furbabies than kids.
Love this “gravy” that’s all it is (no tidbits or pieces of meat) which is exactly what my 2 cats love!
But it also made both of them puke their guts out. They love gravy in food but this just didn't agree with them for some reason.
Texture is gel-like and has an abnormal color to it. It's a little too bright yellow. I can't get either of my cats to eat it. Even the ferals avoid it. Something is just off about it :-/
My cat only licks out the gravy in her canned food, so I add this at times and she loves it!
My cats absolutely hated them. Even my feral cats would not eat them. I gave them to my daughter. One cat loved them. The other hated them. Her feral cat loved them. Go figure.
