The first few times I ordered these they were so hard I couldn't even break them in half. I had been storing them in an oversized sealed glass jar. I just bought a bag recently and I could easily break them in half and into quarters. I've been storing them in the original packaging and haven't had any problems so far with not being able to break them up. My guess is a lot of people are probably storing them in oversize containers where lot of air gets in and causes them to get very hard and stale. I'm guessing this particular treat is especially susceptible to this because of the thickness and density. I did contact the company and they said they haven't reformulated the treats, so it's not thatThe first few times I ordered these they were so hard I couldn't even break them in half. The lady on the phone was very nice and even offered to give me a voucher for the the bag of treats that I got that were too hard. We will see how this batch of treats go... otherwise back to the drawing board. Because as far as I'm concerned if you can't break a treat with your hands it's too hard for a dog to be eating. I gave it four stars however for the phenomenal ingredients and prefect size.… more
Great Low Fat Treat
on Apr 19, 2017
I ordered the Fromm chicken treat on the suggestion of the Chewy.com rep. My furry baby has to follow a low fat diet and this chicken treat turned out to be a real favorite! He is a very very picky eater so the fact that he scarfs down these treats is a perfect test. There are other flavors of Fromm treats to choose from, if your furry baby prefers something other than chicken. I definitely recommend this product.

I love these treats and so does my boxer pup. They are just the right size of treat as well. Because my pup is a large breed dog, I have been purchasing large treats for him. With his slobbery mouth, I would have to vacuum up after him every time he ate a treat (5xa day). These are perfect sized, healthy and according to my pup delicious.

My son has a new roommate and her name is 'Lily' . . . she's a sweet pittie girl who I just adore . . . I ordered these snacks for her. She knows how to sit and shake but not lie down on command. I gave her one of these snacks and showed her what I wanted her to do and that was it . . . as long as she got one of these very crunchy treats she would lie down every single time ; )
Pup loves these...

She has allergies so I'm careful with snack ingredients and these are gentle on the tummy. The size is perfect as a "snack" opposed to the smaller training size of the Cheese Recipe which are also delicious to her and work well for Agility training. Love Fromm's all the way around!
Good biscuit treat
on Apr 11, 2017
The dense & crunchy biscuits seem to be made with good ingredients, and are just the right size. Our goldendoodle puppy tried one, but didn't seem to like the taste/texture or whatever else a dog judges treats by.
Very much enjoyed

I have a basset and a monster hound mutt. They both enjoyed these treats. They are Not too big not too small. I will continue to buy them. Love the value and price. The bags are not very large but they are very full. Great size treat for medium and larger dogs! Smaller dogs may have trouble breaking them up.
My Chase is only fed Fromm and Honest Kitchen plus raw meat and vegetables so these Fromm treats fit right in. I buy all flavors.

Teddy loves his goodies
on Apr 9, 2017
Teddy our Yorkie, 8lbs loves his goodies. I highly recommend them since they
are grain free. However, the beef sticks are too big for him and he wont eat them.
My extremely picky eater loves these!

My dog is very select. Some treats she will not touch, others she will sometimes and then there is the very rare one she likes. Usually she likes the bad for her variety as they taste good. And since she is also picky about other food it is important I do not give her junk food treats. But these are nutritionally sound and she loves them. Finally!
