We are quickly becoming a Fromm family for our Pyr Pup Thor. He eats the Fromm Large Breed Puppy, and these treats were a real win. When he hears the jar rattle that these are stored in he sits down so fast for a treat his butt thumps on the floor!! My friend makes amazing homemade locally sourced dog treats that are our usual pup snacks and they are hard to beat but we'll definitely be re-buying these for a go-to purchased treat! FYI these treats are fairly large and firm crunchy snacks that worked fine for our boy (at 4 months he is 40lb so his Great Pyrenees puppy teeth are rather large) but they might be a bit big for a smaller breed.
My Doggies and their Friends, enjoy the human touch!!
on May 19, 2017
So I have had dogs all my life, long before the pet companies started to mix in the vegies, fruits and real meat. I would customize their food bowls with the human food...always being told by the other half (not always the better) that you are going to spoil them and they wont eat their own food...long store short thanks for catching up, and producing a clean healthy treat for my dogs and their friends...ATS-Denver
Good sized biscuit with quality ingredients.
on May 7, 2017
I was looking for a healthy alternative to the typical biscuits you see at the store (milkbone, kirkland, etc.) and these fit the bill nicely. The only problem we had was that they were a little too hard for my dog's liking. He usually inhales any kind of treat, and while he did eat these eventually, he would only do so after sniffing it for a while and nudging it around with his nose. He definitely had an "I guess" attitude towards them, probably due to both the flavor and texture. We may have better luck with the other flavors.

I am extremely pleased with the snacks and with chewy.com. my dogs love them and the wonderful convenient service I couldn't ask for anything more. I can't beat the price I can't beat the service and my dogs can't get enough of the treats and the food. So for me and my dogs we want to thank you for everything that you have become chewy.com.

I wrote another review on the chicken treats. I thought these treats might be too hard but I bit into one to see for myself and they crumble very easily. It appears that they are very hard because you cannot break them in half but that is just because of the small and compact size. Once broken into by your teeth they crumble easily and should be no problem for a dog to chew, even ones with fewer teeth. They have fantastic ingredients and are the perfect size for a dog of any size. I will be ordering more!
Dogs don't like it but it's healthy so 50/50
on May 15, 2017
I had high hopes but it was rejected immediately these sit around for hours and days and eaten as a last resort when other food is withheld for a while. It's too bad cause they are a very healthy treat, sigh, oh well, and I bought two bags , maybe that's why they were on sale hmmm?
Paws Down didn't like them
on May 6, 2017
My dogs eat pretty much anything, But these were a Paws down. They would take it and immediately drop them and walked away. I'm guessing they didn't like the taste of lamb. These are small pieces and may be better for a small dog. Moving on to find another grain free treat for them from Chewy.

Good ingredients and good size. Only problem is I guess they're maybe too "gourmet" for some dogs. My border collie inhales them (shocker), but my catahoula ate one, and spit out the other one. When I went to pick it up, he knocked it out of my hand with his nose (hahaha).
The dog loves them!

I was pleased with the ingredients. At last, a treat that wasn't full of some kind of meal. One comment I do have is that it would be nice to size the treats, i.e., one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. Our chocolate lab was a rescue and had lost some teeth when she was out on her own; but was able to chew these treats with no problems. Her previous treats were larger, so when I gave her the new lamb and cranberry treats, she would look at me as if to say "is there more?" Thank you Fromm for an outstanding product.
Not a Fan.
on Apr 2, 2017
Minnie, my dachshund was not a fan. Usually when it is treat time she would take it from my hand. Not this one. She sniffed it for a while and was deciding if she wanted it. I put it down on the floor and she pushed it with her nose a few times. Hard for her to chew but she was able to break it down. She loves her dingo chews, and milkbones with marrow so much more.
