Precautions

For external use only. Do not use on dogs or puppies under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 5 pounds. Sensitivities may occur after using ANY pesticide product for dogs. If signs of sensitivity occur bathe your dog with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Dogs may experience some temporary irritation at the site of product application. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on medicated, debilitated, pregnant, lactating/nursing or aged dogs. If your dog is exhibiting signs of and/or is being treated for skin dermatitis, talk to your veterinarian before applying any topical flea and tick control product.

*Remove one applicator tube from the package and hold in an upright position pointed away from your face. *Twist dispensing tip clockwise about 1/2 turn while pushing down to break the tube's seal. Do not remove the dispensing tip. Position the dispending tip on the dog's back between the shoulder blades. *Use the dispensing tip of the tube to part the dog's hair so that the product will be applied at skin level. *Begin squeezing out the contents of the tube to form a stripe as you move from the shoulder blades along the dog's back to the base of the tail. *Repeat every month.

In addition to having fipronil and (S)-methoprene, they now added a powerful third ingredient, pyriproxyfen which helps to kill the next generation of flea eggs and larvae before they can develop in to adult fleas. what is the difference between,FRONTLINE PLUS & FRONTLINE GOLD?

Both products are effective against ticks, fleas, and lice in both immature and adult versions. The only difference is that Frontline Gold kills fleas faster than Frontline Plus does. Both products require monthly applications and are safe to use in all dogs and puppies above 8 weeks of age.

Can you just apply the Frontline Gold to the neck like you would Frontline Plus instead of going all the way down the back to tail?

For full effect, it's recommended to apply treatment as directed, squeeze out content of the tube from the shoulder blades along the dog’s back to the base of the tail.

As always, the package arrived ahead of schedule and products were as ordered. The Frontline was packed with a case of canned dog food and the Frontline box was crushed but the product was fine.
