Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Works Well But Gives Me Headaches

I had to switch my dog to topical flea meds because of seizures. I switched to Frontline Gold about 7 months ago and have not had a problem with fleas or ticks. It took me a while to make the connection that I get headaches from smelling it on him. It's better if I bathe him a couple days after treatment, but it's a little concerning. There doesn't seem to be a lot of options for effective topical treatments.

Did not work.

I was hopeful that this new gold product would have increased effectiveness. It did not. This product did not work for any of my dogs. This was an unfortunate waste of money.

NO Fleas so far

Since I have been using this product on my dog, she has not had any more flea issues. Also, she hasn't had any ticks. The only complaint we have is that it irritates her for a little bit, medicine helps with that.

It worked until...

I've used Frontline Gold for quite a few years and never had a problem. Unfortunately, my neighbor gave us a flea infestation in our yard and my dog started getting terrible fleas, even though I never missed a dose. We called exterminators for the yard and house, but there's still breakthrough fleas on my dog. I will be switching to my vet's prescribed flea meds, even though she doesn't like the chewable medication. Maybe if you don't have a heavy load of fleas in the environment this will work for you. It worked for me for a long time until now.

Looking good after my first 3 month package

I used to use regular FrontLine and my girl still had fleas. I heard about Frontline Gold and had to try it. I bought my first package 3 months ago and things are looking good. I see and feel no fleas or ticks. Now I am getting another 3 month supply. Kinda expensive during the warm months with 3 dogs,

Use to love Frontline

Not sure if it was a bad batch or maybe they just don’t use the same ingredients. Never had a flea issue in the past. Now we do. Treated my Dog every 4 weeks and it didn’t work! So wasted money on this product and now I’m on the hunt for a new better one.
