Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 90 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Does it continue to work after bathing dog or do you need to reapply?
Answer by ChewyApr 03, 2018
This treatment provides waterproof effectiveness so that it won't wash off from swimming or baths.

My dog has a thick coat as she's part Pomeranian & I never know if it's getting on her skin instead of her fur?
Answer by ChewySep 27, 2019
To apply, part your pet's hair between the shoulder blades until you can see the skin, and place the tip of the applicator on the skin. Then, squeeze applicator to apply entire contents in a single spot on the skin monthly.

Something went wrong

I have used this and the generic version over the past three years. We purchased this last month and within ten days it looked like fleas were growing on my dog. They were jumping everywhere and my dog was constantly itching worse than before we put the flea killer on her. I guess this was a bad batch. Going to go purchase the pills at my vet and never use this again.

Does Not Work

Bought this to treat my dog for fleas. Applied as directed and a week later she is still covered with fleas. Waited til I could do the 2nd application, again, I followed the directions exactly, she still has fleas. I won't be buying this again. I think I should get a refund because it did absolutely nothing.

Dogs won't take medicine by mouth

Our dogs are very picky about what goes into their mouths. Chewable flea and tick Chewables won't work. The Front Line liquid on the back of the neck has always been our choice and it has never let us down.

Highly recommended Frontline Flea Care

I have been using this flea care for years on my pet. Never once have I had any issues or emergencies. As long as you use it on time each month, it works well each time.

Terrible product

I bought for my dogs and I believe I got a bad batch because I've used this for years with no problems and this time it did not kill any of the fleas it didn't work at all.....I called the company and they wouldn't even stand behind their own product. Will never buy again.

Fleas do not bite

My dog has flea saliva allergy . Other flea products which are oral require a bite to kill . This one is spread through glands to surface of skin and repels and kills without a bite . Eggs and larvae are dead too . Big plus ! Works to kill ticks as well . Best price for a great product . We switched 6 months ago off Nexguard . Glad we did .

Not Effective

Frontline seems to work less every time I use it, and I am ready to move on to a different brand. I suspect the manufacturer has been cutting corners to make more money.
