  • So glad I tried this

    By on

All my dogs love this broth! I didn't want to purchase wet food for all three dogs as it was getting to pricey so I switched them to this and they love it! I warm a little up in the microwave and then put it on the food and let it soak in for a little bit. Its great for my French Bulldog because he doesn't chew his food and this makes it soft! I saw a lot of reviews that the packaging was damaged when they got it but I've never had that happen.

  • Bad packaging

Unfortunately, I’ve gotten the product twice now where the spout breaks when opening the top and the container leaks to the point where you have to just move it to a different bottle if you want to keep it. Fix the packaging and we’ll buy again but for now, skip this product.

I’ve been trying to not stir in moist food to my dogs dry food anymore, so I tried this. They seemed to all enjoy it. I warmed food I. Microwave after pouring over to soften a bit

  • Keeps kibble interesting

    By on

My puppy is a very finicky eater, and he will sometimes turn his nose up at his kibble (trying to wait me out for something better!) but if I add a splash of this broth, he digs right in! Will definitely order more!

  • Not impressed.

I was excited see these low sodium broths made without onions, so purchased three flavors -- chicken, bacon, and beef--to enhance our cocker spaniel's homemade food. He is on heart meds and requires a low sodium diet. I used the bacon one first which was kind of bland and didn't offer much enticement. It didn't last very long in the frig and had to throw most of it away. In the meantime, the chick broth was stored in an open shelf closet and had a slow leak. I could smell something off I there and finally discovered what had happened. I had to move a cabinet to clean behind it along with everything else around it. That was the second carton I had to throw away. So far, a waste of money. Will more than likely stick to my own recipes. … more

  • Cats love it!

    By on

Shockingly all six of my cats love this broth! Three of the six I wasn't worried about and I expected one of mine who completely refuses to eat wet food, water softened dry food, and many kinds of dry food alone to turn his nose up at this but he likes it!! I mainly bought it for our two girls, my baby who had a seizure three weeks ago who I found out had a bladder infection after $300 worth of tests (with no answers as to why she had an episode) and my mom's girl who has a bladder stone that we can't afford to have removed at the moment. The girls both would gobble up the broths of the wet food I was mixing in but would leave most of the meaty pieces so this was an amazing alternative! Shockingly all six of my cats love this broth! All of my cats now have this in their diet so I don't have to constantly monitor my mom's cat so she doesn't eat dry food alone (she has more flare ups where she has trouble urinating and drips bloody pee all over the place when she doesn't have enough fluids in her diet) and I know it's also better for the rest of them for the same reason. Chewy is the cheapest place I've found it so far, I just wish their free shipping wasn't only on expensive orders. The only negative I have so far is the way the products were shipped, I ordered two of these as well as 2 other supplements and one bag of treats of the same brand and two bags of cat litter, they were all shipped together in the same box so the 28 and 26 pound bags of litter were crushing up the broths. Luckily none of them busted open but it makes me leery of ordering all together again. … more

My 14 year old Yorkie was recovering from a stroke. It was hard to get him to eat mainly because he couldn't figure out how to chew after his stroke. Slow process. I noticed that when I fed him some home made chicken soup along with his food his appetite was beginning to increase daily. However I was concerned about garlic and onions causing more harm. So I googled and found this product. Safe for pet and he loves it just as much as my home made soup. Fear of not wanting to eat was always on my mind but He has fully recovered. I only use a 1/4 cup in his food mix but I am also spoiling my always hungry Beagle. Now that's another story. :) Your pups will enjoy both the Chicken and Beef. … more

I have added this broth to his freeze dried food to help soften it and my 12 year old Chihuahua likes it.

  • Okay but not what I thought

    By on

I like the convinenece of having a pour topper to entice my lo to eat however I couldn't make a dent in this with his small diet and it took him a second to warm up to it and it's a tad oily and hard to mix in without drowning the food and making it soggy bc of his small portions. I don't hate it just not for us.

  • Loving the Kibble Now

    By on

Katie (10 year old collie) only eats a little Fromm's kibble, but today we received this broth and wow - she gobbled a whole dish and even wanted more. Thanks Chewy for carrying these broths. I mixed it in well enough for even coverage, then 20 seconds in the microwave, and poof it disappeared :)
