is the beef grass fed?

Is it safe to give these to my 4 month Labrador Retriever or should I wait till he's a bit older?

These treats can be offered to puppies, but owners should keep in minds that puppies aren’t well practiced in chewing off chunks they can handle. For the safest treat times, monitor your puppy and prevent them from swallowing large chunks. It is best to break jerky-style treats up into tiny portions for small muzzles.
What is the shelf life of the jerky treats?

These treats have a best by date stamped on the bag. As long as the treats are kept in their original packaging, sealed and stored in a cool, dry place, the treats will be good until that date.

I should have paid attention to the ingredients!

Nice texture and is easily cut into small training-size bait, but I wished I’d paid attention to the ingredients list. When there’s beef, chicken and turkey in something for dogs, why add sugar to it?? Sugar shouldn’t be needed to entice the dog to eat it. I don’t give a darn whether the sugar is organic or not. (Color me asleep at the switch!!) It is well known that sugar causes inflammation in people (first-hand experience due to my own widespread osteoarthritis). So I wouldn’t be surprised if sugar does the same for other species. My nearly 9-year old dog has some arthritis, so while I can’t afford to throw the bag out, he’s getting darned few pieces of this sugared treat per day. And when it’s gone, I’m definitely NOT ordering more! Sugar isn’t good for anyone. I don’t care what type/form is used - - or how organic it is.

Soft Jerky

I wasn't sure what to expect but I like that they're soft and easy to tear into smaller pieces. If we're going on a big hike I want to give them some more protein. this way I can either give them a whole one each or tear it into smaller pieces.

Yummy Beef Jerky

Cocoa loves these. It's her daily treat for a walk well done. The size is good for her...not too big, not too small. I like the limited, pronounceable ingredients. Added to favorites and will buy again. :-)

Great stuff

Full Moon products are good quality and made here in the USA - at least that is what I believe. My dogs love them, both Beef and chicken varieties, but I wish they could back off their enthusiasm when I go to the Treat cupboard because I can hardly get the treat out of the package before they start pushing forward to grab their treat. Nothing better.
