Awesome bed
I bought 2 of these beds for my 14 yr old dog in large (for taking to classes or yard) and jumbo for inside about 1 yr ago. I love them and so does the dog. We have 3 other dog beds as well, different needs at different times, around the house. This particular bed is great because it’s easy to wash (occasional soiling, remove cover, spray areas, and wash zipped up on delicate, hang dry inside out). I bought water proof liners for each, though those are cheapish but with the cover itself keeps the ortho foam dry. I also bought replacement covers for putting on while cleaning others. The bed handles digging, poop, vomit, moving w/ dog teeth. My dog used to be a big biter/ shredder, but he hasn’t been inclined w/ these. The ortho foam in this model seems firmer, better quality than a sofa style one we have. I put a blanket on it so fog can make his bed.
Cover comes apart at seams, otherwise would be great
I purchased a jumbo plus size in 2021 and that cover held up well for 2 years! Last month I purchased a new cover and another smaller jumbo-size bed. Unfortunately the cover is already separated at the seam in multiple places. A shame the quality and durability of the covers has declined this much. The inside isn't much good without the cover so it's hard to recommend these now.
Not good
My dogs won't even step on them! They are not 4 inches thick. Cheap unevenly cut foam. Yes, noisy to the dogs. The foam doesn't even fill out the cover, maybe there is 2 inches of foam. The beds came folded in half and won't lay flat. Junk Returns on the way back at ya Chewy!!
Good, not great
There are already tears in the cover, only bought it in August. Great size (Jumbo plus) for my English Mastiff, but very disappointed that the cover is torn in 3 places. We use this as her outdoor bed, by the pool, so the inside foam is now getting wet. If the cover wouldn’t tear so easily I’d recommend it.
Poor quality
This is the second one I bought and after ONLY 1 night the seams starting ripping and it just looks like it flattened out. It looks dirty because one dog decided to play in the field why it was raining. The first one I bought is holding up great and no issues with seams nor has it flattened out at all and that one was the color Grey. I don't no it the blue ones are just having problems. I'm going to see if it can be returned. The first one I got I would give 4 Stars only because there is noise to it when the dogs get on it. The blue is 1 star
Nice but a bit noisy
I bought this for our old dog so he can fully stretch out and spend less time on our bed! He hopped right on when I put it where a smaller dog bed was. It does seem to support him comfortably but the canvas makes a crackling noise when he steps on it. If he changes positions it makes noise, and he gets up and moves. I put a sheet over it and it seems to help. Now he has three beds in our bedroom!
Just what we needed
We had purchased another bed for out lab, but it was too fluffy, with a big lump of filling in the middle that wouldn’t press down. We called Chewy and they immediately credited out account, after which I ordered this bed. The dog took to it like a goldfish to a bowl. I don’t know if it’s going to last, but if he’s happy, we’re happy.
A very happy dog : )
Our Harley boy is very happy with his new bed. We have bought other beds for him but he chews them and makes a mess. This one he lays down and sleeps well when it it bedtime.
Cover ripped
I just received my order of 2 of these large dog beds. One was in perfect condition and one cover was ripped upon arrival. I love the beds but disappointed that one was sent to me ripped. I order tons from chewy so a little frustrated.
Awful for outside
I purchased this bed for outside on my porch. The material is super stiff and makes a crinkly sound when touched. My poor pups dont like it all
