    VERY Disappointed

By Betty on Mar 4, 2021

This bed cover is more plastic feeling than canvas. (Which attracts dust and fuzz, and hair...static electricity.) The bed isn't the firm 3 inch thick as they state. It is very easy to squish down and not much support at all. It came vacuum packed, so it has lots of creases and folds in the foam, which will probably come out. The "memory foam" is as pictured in the listing but it's only about 1 inch thick so it will flatten down easily when the dog is on it; I'm not sure why they even bothered to put it on the "support foam." You are mainly getting 2" thick support foam for a bed. You are mainly getting 2" thick support foam for a bed. When I squeeze the foam bed between my fingers and thumb it doesn't take much to feel my fingers together through the foam coved bed. Not sure where they thought this would support a dog's joints. (Elbows, knees) The zipper is sewn really messed up. It has a bunched up pocket like area. (So if you unzip all the way, be careful not to push the zipper to far or it will get lost in the pocket and may lock in place, making it difficult to release and rezip the cover. This crunched up area around the end that has a pocket place, where the end of the zipper is, will be the perfect spot for dirt, dust, hair and whatever else to get stuck in, not to mention a place for the dogs to dig at if they get curious as to what that lumpy area is. (My senior dogs don't chew, but they do like curious places to check out.) When I opened the package with the bed, vacuumed sealed inside, I noticed the zipper was already part way opened and not zipped all the way. So I decided to check the zipper and saw that it only goes from the top corner of the short part of the bed around the corner continuing down only half way of one longer side of the bed. I had trouble with zipping it shut with the plasticky canvas inside that was stiffly sticking out in the way of the zipper. This zipper is only made of plastic, so not sure how long it would last if you have to struggle to zip and unzip. Having a top unzipped and then unzipping the longer side, which is only half way down the side, will make this very difficult to remove the foam from inside to clean the cover and even harder to place the foam back inside the cover to use. This was a very poorly designed bed. You would have thought they would have it unzip half way down both longer sides and across the end of the short side. That way you have more opening area to remove and replace the foam. I bought 2 beds, and they came in separate boxes. I only opened the One box, and was so disappointed that I didn't bother to open the second one. I am not sure what to do with either beds now. At the price these beds were and their issues, I don't feel this product is worth the price. I would definitely question any of the other beds made by this company if this is the example of their products. I would Not recommend this bed to anyone else thinking of buying one. … more
