FurHaven Minky Plush Luxe Lounger Orthopedic Cat & Dog Bed w/Removable Cover

I recently ordered this bed for my 11 month old Dane. He weighs 120 lbs. This giant bed is not only perfect for his size, but extremely comfortable (I laid on it myself). However, the cover material is cheaply made! We’ve had the bed for about 10 days and it already has holes in the cover of the bed. My husband has always told me, “you get what you pay for” and who doesn’t want the best for their fur babies!? For the price I paid, I expected the material to hold up better than what it has. I don’t see this bed lasting much longer than any of the others I’ve had in the past.

I bought 4 of these beds. 1 Medium and 3 Jumbo Plus. The medium is perfect for my 20 pound dog.She is 14 years old and has stiff joints and this bed has most certainly helped her stiffness and pain. She is feeling so much better, a good night sleep does wonders. The Jumbo Plus beds are thick and plush. Over the years I have bought many beds of all prices, many of which were more costly than these, none have even come close to the quality of these Furhaven beds. The Jumbo Plus beds are super thick and the boys love them. I have a 9 year old 110 pound dog that this Jumbo Plus bed had made him act like a puppy again. They do have a "plastic" smell when they arrive as they are shrink wrapped to collapse them for shipping, do as instructed and let them air back up. It takes about 2 days for them to be full and about 10 days for the smell to leave but they are well worth the wait. These beds have made my dogs life better. Restful sleep with no pressure on old joints is priceless. These beds are wonderful. … more

I have a bed that’s very similar for my larger border collie- that has a great waterproof liner over the foam insert, as well as a pretty nice backing to the main cover that’s close to waterproof as well. That one was from Costco, and only came in large, so I was looking for a similar style in a smaller version for our Maltese. The size of this bed is perfect, and she really seems to love the shape! Unfortunately, she got sick on it and the easy to remove cover was not at all waterproof, nor is the foam lined. I loved this Minky soft bed immediately--wished it was big enough for me. My dog was more reserved...preferred to sleep on the hard floor beside it. I ordered it because he is old and frequently has a sore leg. In the past few days he has decided that he DOES like it and looks so comfy sleeping up off the hard cold floor!

Exactly as described, plush with just the right amount of support and head rise at either end. My 7 year old healer loved loved them !!! Unfortunately my 6 month old husky loved the so much he ate them. I’ll buy again when the husky matures a bit

CJ loves his new Orthopedic dog bed. The quality is great. The material and it is super thick. My dog loves it. I placed his old bed and his new bed side by side and he gets on this new bed now! He’s 13 so I’m sure it’s great for his joints!

I almost never write reviews but these beds are so terrific I decided to go the extra mile. I wish I'd purchased these beds years ago. I had no idea how much my dogs would love them. They nestle into the curve and rest their heads on the rolled sides and take a long, relaxing nap. The removable covers zip off and go back on easily. I put them in a mesh washing machine bag and hang them dry. These beds are amongst the best pet purchases I've ever made.

My very smart and very picky border collie loves to lay on my couch. Since I’m shopping for a new couch, I thought I’d entice her with this cozy bed and it WORKED! She gravitated to it right away. Even when I move it to different spots in the house, she chooses her new bed instead of my couch. Very happy with it. Great density and support. Very velvety.

I got this for my older Cavalier and she likes it when she can get on it but the other dogs and cats think it's perfect for them as well. There is always a pet sleeping on it. I like that it's firm and easy for older dogs to get onto. The beds with bolsters are often challenging for older dogs.

Received the dog bed just last week, but am pleased with the extra large size for our large dog (85lbs). The memory foam seems to be of good quality and is holding up well at this point. Was concerned about the cover -- thinner material (especially on the underside) than what I was hoping -- so time will see how long it holds up. Like that the cover is removable to make for easy cleaning.
