When will this be available?
how do you wash it?

The cover is machine washable and the foam can be hand washed. To wash the cover, remove the foam core and zip the bed close. Shake off any loose debris from cover before washing. You can hand or machine wash separately using cold water. Do not bleach. Set it to line dry or tumble dry on low. The foam can be spot cleaned with mild soap as needed. Press excess water from the mat, don't wring the foam, lay it out to air dry. Do not machine wash foam.
Can this bed be used outdoors on a porch?

This bed is not waterproof or water-resistant. It does feature a polycanvas, water-resistant base, however, it is not recommended for outdoor use. FurHaven does have a Polycanvas Indoor/Outdoor, Water-Resistant, Orthopedic Pet Bed available for purchase on Chewy.

This bed can certainly be placed in a crate. We recommend measuring your crate and looking at the bed sizes carefully, to ensure that you find a size that fits your crate well.

Not firm enough

I thought since it was orthopedic it would be firm - it is not - my corgi is 28 pounds and it sinks almost flat where she lays - I was hoping for something truly firm and this product is not. The top side of the cover is too silky/fluff - corgi hairs stick to it too easily as it gathers a lot of static. I would have returned them but it was too much trouble for the money.I would recommend this product for a small dog - nothing over 10 pounds if you truly want an orthopedic type bed for your pup - or a cat - but my cat doesn't like it.

Large dog no. Small dog okay.

My dog is 50 pounds and she sinks right through this thing. The foam inside is thin and offers little support. It's nice that it's so big she can full spread on it, but I still have to supplement with blankets and pillows for extra cushioning. The cover comes off so that's a plus. She also chewed the zipper and shredded the corner to pieces. It would probably be used bed as a "nap" or "day bed" but for nights a real mattress woild be best. This is her outdoor bed now. My small 5 pound dog loves it though.

Jumbo Size

Purchased 3 of the jumbo size for Golden retriever, Chesapeake Bay retriever & an Aussie Shepard. The foam in the jumbo size is definitely not as thick or orthopedic for my babies needs. It's too thin gives no support. For my babies it's like they are laying on a towel. The cover is very nice just not the foam. I have 3 of the jumbo plus size and that foam is much thicker and gives much better comfort support.

Worth the $$$$

Bed is worth every penny. My English Mastiff and Staffordshire terrier can both easily fit on it with room to spare. It's extremely comfortable. My wife and son both said they could sleep on it. Great purchase just wish I could have put their names on it.

I'm happy, my dog is happy

We have 3 of these beds strategically placed around the house and my dog is happy (which counts for something), but most of all, I'm happy. The bed is easy to clean; lasts a long time; my dog hasn't torn it apart; and it's a good price for a quality bed. I will continue buying this bed for my dog....but that won't be for a while.

jumbo is actually jumbo!

Got the jumbo size for my German Shepard, and it can hold him and my border collie it’s so big! I guess it might be thinner than expected but can’t really complain on that because it still holds it shape pretty well! The boys love it, highly recommend

misleading

Advertised as ultra plush orthopedic deluxe. It’s just an egg crate foam topper wrapped in fabric. Not nearly as soft as the advertising makes you feel like it should be. Also took like 2 weeks to arrive. Honestly not impressed.

Probably get different bed next time

This is the 4th or 5th Jumbo size bed I have ordered. It is noticeably smaller than previous beds, about 2" shorter on each side. Dog just puked on it so I can't return it but I'll be going with a different bed next time.

FURHAVEN is a great product

They need to be more careful on the quality of the zippers -- or quality check them. Otherwise, I really like these that the covers come off to clean!!!!! I would recommend this to a friend ON A BUDGET!!! I look forward to their sales!

Love this bed

My chocolate lab is very picky about texture…. After taking it out of the box, he laid on it immediately. It’s seems very comfortable with just the right amount of foam for sturdiness. He’s 90 pounds and likes to stretch out so I got him the Jumbo Plus. I would highly recommend that size if your fur baby likes that extra space for comfort.
