Not orthopedic; cheap egg crate
I bought this from a different retailer before coming to Chewy to look for a better replacement. This is the worst excuse for an "orthopedic" bed I've ever seen. The "3 inch" foam you're buying is more like 1 inch of (super-cheap, lightweight) foam and 2" of thin points that hold the cover up and make it look like a nice thick bed. For reference for how little support this gives, my 12-lb CAT just about bottoms out the foam!
Love this bed
My chocolate lab is very picky about texture…. After taking it out of the box, he laid on it immediately. It’s seems very comfortable with just the right amount of foam for sturdiness. He’s 90 pounds and likes to stretch out so I got him the Jumbo Plus. I would highly recommend that size if your fur baby likes that extra space for comfort.

My 60lb brindle pit is in love! She immediately went to it and rolled all over it. It's made of egg crate so when it got air back into it, it was firm enough for my baby. Love the color and the removable cover!
BEST BED EVER!!!
This is the second bed ordered because my Dogs love it. I have 3 dogs, 1 large, 1 med and 1 small.. they all lay on it at the same time and it's super thick and comfy for them. I ordered another to have at my sister's house when they visit. By far the best bed they've had and they've been through many. It's also lasted a long time. The mattress doesn't absorb any liquid, it rolls right off.
Absolutely not worth it
Bought this because of the reviews. It's definitely not as described. It's cheap, thin, and absolutely not orthopedic. It's a thin egg crate with a really thin fabric on top. Nothing more. My dogs flattened it in 1 day. 40 lb poodles.
good bed for dog
I got the large and was expecting something a little bigger. I measured it and it’s a little short that what the advertised measurements say but it’s okay my dog fits on it perfectly. It isn’t as thick as I thought it was going to be either. All in all it’s and okay bed. It is good looking in the house not as ugly as the one I had before. 7/10
Affordable comfort
This bed is about 4 inches to big for my dogs crate but it slid in and rests perfectly on top of the plastic crate tray. It's firm and easy to clean with the removable cover. I bought a huge one just like this over a year ago for Duchess while she's in the living room playing with her toys or just relaxing and have been pleased with it since we got it. It was a no brainer when I saw this bed advertised by the same company.
Product Quality?
We have these all over the house and needed a new one as a replacement. I've always been very pleased with the high quality of this specific item (and others in this product line) at the price point they were selling for on Chewy. Out of the 4 we currently have in the house they all have held up very well over the last couple of years. We have retired greyhounds that are older guys- so these beds get a ton of use by the 45mph couch potatoes. The quality of this current product is NOT WHAT IT WAS IN THE PAST......the foam is less dense, flimsy and the cover is cheaply made. This won't last 6 months in this house.... Chewy is great - this specific product is not. Hoping it's a minor blip with quality control on the manufacturers end.
My dogs love it!
I was looking for a large bed that would accommodate my 3 dogs (1 Border Collie, 1 Australian Shepard, and 1 Beagle). My fur babies love it and the removable cover makes it easy to clean.
Returning it
This is so light for any dog (let alone a lab!). My dog would go on top and the bed would go flat. Plus, it came in a box and it was folded which messed up the shape of the bed.
