Best bed ever!!!
Charlie is a very active 7 yr old lab. When he sleeps he needs to be cuddled with soft materials. He used to sneak on our bed in the middle of the night. I had to add an old duvet to his bed to get in to stay in it. That was until we found the fur haven plush pillow bed. Charlie also fusses memory foam pads (I think he gets too hot). The plush pillow bed is soft, the foam pieces mold around him. He loves it!!!
Velcro-Dog Approved!
My blue heeler is always right by my side but I wanted to give him a comfy spot just for him. He's a very dense 40lbs and I went for the large in the shell color. The bed comes out of the box looking like a cube- I had to pull apart the filling on the side to "fluff" it out. It was way too tall even for my athletic boy to hop into, so I put it on my couch and sat in it like a beanbag for a couple days to help smoosh it down. At first my dog had zero interest in it - even with the scent from me sitting in it. As soon as I put his favorite blanket over it he climbed in immediately, and now it's his favorite spot in the house. He loves being in a central area where he can keep an eye on everyone, and loves to push the blanket around to make himself a perfect nest. If your dog likes to be curled up rather than sprawled out, this is a great bed. The shell color is not quite as pictured on the website - it's pretty much a baby pink. You can see in the picture how it compares to the white sherpa blanket I put over it. I quite like it, it's a nice departure from the countless neutral-colored dog beds out there. I do have to reshape it every once in a while, but the shredded memory foam is super easy to work with. I have a new pup joining our family soon and I will definitely getting one for her too!
Better than expected
I bought this bed hoping it would be similar to a bean bag. I have Frenchies and they love bean bags. I was not thrilled when I opened it and realized it was nothing like a bean bag. The memory foam inside is clumpy. After some "massaging" of the memory foam as the instructions suggested, the bed plumped up. I was afraid my pup would not find it comfortable but he absolutely loves it!!! He is so comfortable!
Almost perfect plush bed
I've ordered these before (1 bed each for 3 GSPs). The covers shed incredibly in the dryer, so I have to keep a close eye to make sure my dryer doesn't clog-- but that's not a big deal. My only real complaint is the quality control at the factory: one of my 3 beds each time has had less fiber fill than the others. I can take from one & put in another, but people who buy just 1 bed might get one that's not as full.
Super Happy Bulldog
So I was a little sketched out when I first opened this bed. But you have to about 24 hours for all the prices inside to be full airec out. It was a whole new bed. My dog has even stopped sleeping on my bed and just wants to get in this bed all day long. I highly recommend for anyone who has a dog that likes to bury themselves or nest which my bulldog does. She is about 50 lbs and I would say this is just right for her but maybe I would even go up a size next time.
75lb pit bull loves it!
My boy loves his new bed! He loves nesting and spinning to create the perfect spot to lay so this bed is perfect for him. Even after nesting the foam keeps him off the ground. Every couple days I pick it up and shake and turn it to keep the foam scraps dispersed. Very soft and cozy.
fluffy bed
this was much fluffier than what I expected. I had to teach my dog to get into it ... but once he learned it... he LOVES it !! he normally will sleep at night in our bed with us, but several times now he snuggles up in this bed for the entire night.
Total comfort!
We have 3 boxers so it's kinda hard to find a spot on the sofa plus they were constantly digging at it to make it more comfortable for them. All three love their beds! Everytime my husband walks in the room he says it is by far the best purchase we've made yet for these very spoiled boxers!
new favorite
We’ve been struggling to find a bed our 80lb greyhound likes and this one is the winner! Buyers should know it is very squishy and does not hold its shape so maybe not for everyone but it’s perfect for our dog - he likes to dig and squish it around until it’s perfect. It looked too small when we got it out of the box but it’s spreads out once laid on. He fell asleep almost immediately, yay!
Disappointing bean bag bed
We were really excited to get this bed as a Christmas present for our Golden Retriever because he is always trying to get into my kiddos bean bags. Size of the bed (purchased the XL) and feel of the fabric was good, but the quality was not. It was not near as full and fluffy as shown in the pictures and the cover got a hole in it after a week. Basically in order to get any use out of it, I am going to have to find a new cover and I wasn't trying to spend this much on a dog bed. Disappointed....
