Dog pile- three is a crowd
My cockers love to all to lay together in a pack. I ordered the large bed and it is perfect for all three of them. I love the boarder and the extension to give a little extra room. It was also super easy to unzip and add puppy pads to for my older senior dogs to protect the foam from accidents. They love it. My dogs are medium size 2 males 37 lbs and 1 female 25 lbs. They all fit comfortably together in a large size bed.
we liked this until we didn’t
I really liked this bed and so did my dogs. I like that it’s washable and they like it because it’s comfy. Unfortunately, the first time I put the cover in the wash, the zipper broke. It wasn’t a crazy wash cycle and so washed it by itself. Now the foam comes out so the things we liked about it aren’t relevant anymore. I did think it was a good quality bed until we washed it.
Wish I had known...
I read that this was an orthopedic dog bed and thought it would meet our dog's needs. Unfortunately, the basic option (without memory foam) is soft and comfy enough for a healthy or young dog, but does NOT provide enough support for the joints of an older dog or one with joint issues. If you push in on the mattress, it doesn't take much pressure to reach the hard floor underneath. We have a dog bed with memory foam that was not marketed as orthopedic, and you cannot feel the floor under that one with even the strongest pressure. I would have loved to know this beforehand, as we are now in the market for an actually supportive orthopedic dog bed for our little guy. Something to keep in mind if you are in a similar situation.
Great dog bed for the price
if my dog were reviewing this bad, he would get five stars! I love it too, but I gave it four stars because the materials are not as nice as other orthopedic beds I purchased in the past. That being said they were more expensive so this is a good dog bed for the price. he is a 65 pound bulldog pit mix who likes to curl up. Ordered the large and it's worked out fine.
Si upset with ZIPPER
I was so excited and amazed at how comfortable this bed must have been because my dog I expressly bought it for would barely get up off of it. I ordered the bed on Black Friday, and we've had it for just eight days. He has cancer and needs something supportive so he can get adequate rest and just be comfy and happy. To my dismay, I just noticed tonight that the entire bottom zipper was SPLIT open and broken. The zipper pull is still in the original closed position. Sliding it does nothing. It's just split open all the way around. There is no way my dog unzipped this jumbo bed. He loved this bed! :( I don't know how on earth this spontaneously happened. I'm so upset now with the quality of this bed. Furthermore, Chewy couldn't replace the bed because it is now out of stock. They said they'd give me a refund, which I do appreciate, but now I won't be able to find my poor dog a good orthopedic bed for the same sale price I paid for this one.
Pretty good bed
This bed is nice and soft but is quite lightweight. My dog scoots it across the floor. She doesn't use it as much as her old bed so I save it for foster dogs.
90 lb Lab Mix loves it!
Got a Large bed for my best girl so she could have something comfy to lay on when keeping me company in the home office. It's a hit, she really loves it, like to the point where when she usually follows me to the bathroom she'll now just lay on the bed and be like "have fun mom, I'll be here when you get back". I was worried because in the past she has been known to tear up her beds, but maybe now that she's out of the puppy stage and entering the elder pup stage she's realizing how good of a thing it is. We've only had it about 2 months but it seems like it'll hold up well over time.
Perfect for two medium size dogs
We have two mid-size cocker spaniels here, they both fit comfortably on this bed (and they love it almost as much as the couch)
Great for handicapped dogs
We bought this for our disabled dog. She can't use her back legs very much because of an attack from another dog. 25 puncture wounds. This bed makes it easy for her to get in, since the one side is lower. She loves it!
He loves it
My dog loves his bed so much even tho he still loves the couch I think he loves hes bed just a little bit more its very soft and looks similar to our couch we originally got it for him because he hurt his leg and we didnt want him to keep jumping up and down on the couch and we found this and we dont regret our decision even tho when hes running to his bed will do this little jump on to it
