It's the oddest thing. We have three dogs and three dog beds in which there is no assignment. They just rotate to what's available at any given time. However, for some reason all three of our dogs prefer the tile floor to this bed. There appears to be nothing wrong with the dog bed, but they will get on it to investigate and then abandon it for the floor. I would return this, but the size of it makes it too inconvenient.
My Loki absolutely LOVES his new bed. She sleeps on his bed more often than he did his last one and the one we had veggie was too small for him really even though he loved it too, but he used to hang off it either his back legs or he would lay his head on the floor. He didn't seem to mind ever. Now he even kicks his brother off his bed which he never did before. His brother a much smaller 30 lb Basenji mix has an entire couch to himself as his bed but he likes his brothers bed too. I can't say enough about this bed. So glad it was on sale at over 50% off when I bought it or I might not have gotten it.
FurHaven Quilted Full Support Orthopedic Sofa Dog & Cat Bed - Our 90 lb. pooch loves his Furhaven bed and that is most important! Generally we are happy with the bed as well - my on negative comment is that the quality of the fabric cover is a bit thinner than I would like, so not sure how it will hold up to. Time will tell!
My dog loves it but it is a bit thin for a larger/heavier breed. He is a Rottweiler/Pit-bull/Labrador mix so he is quite large and heavy. I anticipate it lasting about a year or so before needing to replace the foam. He uses it only at night and in just over a month, the foam is noticeably compressed.
Durable, clean, soft, comfortable, good quality, washable. My dog loves this bed. It's an upgrade from his small puppy bed so he is enjoying the extra space + comfort. I find him sleeping on his back with his legs int he air, so I can say this bed is Dipsy approved! It comes vacuumed sealed in a plastic bag, so it needs some time to expand. Make sure to fluff edge pillow, it will make it look fuller.
This bed started out good. It was purchased on Oct. 4, 2022 and 3 months later it has holes in the center where my dog lies. All the stuffing is coming out now. The warranty was only 2 months. We have never had a bed fall apart this way. Very unfortunate, as she is not rough and doesn't destroy toys either.
Bed looked really good at first but after just after 4 weeks the back seem split out. I know my dog is a big boy but I figure it should last longer than that. Now it has to be covered because once he sees it, its game on and the stuffing will be all over the room. No I don't recommend unless you have a toy poodle.
We recently moved and decided to buy new beds for my 2 girls (Shepard mix and lab mix). The beds came in less than a week and wow! Its huge! I bought a jumbo and knew it would be big but didnt realize exactly how big it would be compared to my girls. The both of em can fit in the one bed and we bought 2! The shepherd mix already loves it and the lab mix is unsure... I love it but my only concern is how long it'll last before its gets ripped, but time will tell.
The bed's material was very thin and my bullmastiff ripped thru it within the first day so I had to order dog overs to put over the top of it - the 2nd one is still ok but I bought an extra cover for it too - would not recommend for large breed dogs
My 110lb 5 year old true blue pit is starting to have hip issues, Hank would always try to sleep on the coach as the floor would cause him pain when trying to get up. Since I purchased this orthopedic bed he now loves it and makes it easier for him to get up and walk. i would recommend covering it with a fitted sheet for easy clean up.
