DO NOT PURCHASE
I didn't pay heed to other negative reviews and purchased this bed anyway. When it arrived I took the bed out of the box and went to unzip the cover so I could put the waterproof liner on the bedding. The nylon zipper IMMEDIATELY BROKE off. The cover cannot be taken off and the liner cannot be placed on the bed. VERY CHEAP ZIPPER!!!!
Goliath Bed
I absolutely love this bed! I have a Great Dane so finding a bed that he actually fits on is a lot harder than you would think. This has been the only company that I have found that actually sells beds big enough for Great Danes as advertised. Over the years I have bought many of these beds not only are they big but they are very durable and last a long time. Much longer than other beds I have bought. If you have a mastiff type dog, Great Dane, wolf hound, etc., this is the bed for them!
amazing bed
I’ve had this 4XL for my Great Pyrenees and Rhodesian ridgeback mastiff mix for 3 1/2 years now and it has held up great. The inside part is still going strong and I just now got a replacement bed cover after sewing up a few small holes it got after about 3 years of wear and tear. Best purchase I’ve made for my dogs
Great for dogs and kids!
This bed is well constructed and firm but very comfortable. I got it for my grandkids treehouse and they love it! We’re talking about getting a smaller one for our dog! My husband and I tried it before we put it in the treehouse and we didn’t want to get up. Highly recommend.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!
Returning!!! The Day I received it I tried to unzip it to put the waterproof cover on and the zipper won’t unzip. The next day I noticed the cover was coming apart at the seams, a hole in it already and my dogs had hardly been on it. Cover is very flimsy. Not worth it for the money you have to pay in my opinion. However chewy’s customer service was fist rate when helping to get this shipped back and credited to my account.
Goliath Beds
I have 2 Great Danes and this is my second purchase of these beds. The first two are in their room (3X), yes they have their own room, and the newest two are a little smaller (XL) and are in the family room. I wish I had gotten the 2X but the XL still works fine for daytime. The dogs love their beautiful, comfy beds!
Looks great, but doesn’t meet expectations
I bought this bed in XXL for my very long legged, old German Shepherd who has severe osteoarthritis. Hoped it would be comfortable and give good support. I liked it when I first took it out of the box, but that same night the zipper broke when I tried to remove the cover to add the waterproof cover underneath. I contacted the company and they did send a replacement cover. Two days later the seams had ripped in a few places which eventually made one giant rip along the side. My new cover had been lost in tracking so they sent an additional one. In the end, I ended up with two new replacement covers. I just put them on tonight and am hoping they hold up better. The company’s customer service was great, but quality left things to be desired if spending this much money. As far as my dog goes, I would say he’s actually not a fan of this bed compared to old ones. The foam is very very stiff..there’s little give when he stands or lays on it and it seems he can’t get comfortable. Overall I had hope for the bed, but between the quality of the cover and my dogs response I’m only giving 3 stars. It’s not as expensive as other giant breed “orthopedic” beds so that’s it’s saving grace.
Love all but one thing
I love this bed and my dog loves it as well but unfortunately this is our 3rd open due to the zipper breaking on all of them. Even the protector that goes underneath again the zipper broke. Won’t be ordering this again because its an obvious problem.
