Sturdy and Versatile
We got this for our 15 year old kitty to get up and down from the couch more easily. These stairs are a miracle! There is some (very simple) assembly required and I am actually glad because it turns out these can be set up at different heights and configurations. I have mine set up as a 2-step, with the bottom step being more of a large platform. I saved the extra pieces in case we ever want to change it up - I'm using the extra stair tread to block the space between my two steps and tucked the other leg pieces underneath. The parts are composite wood with steel bolts so the stairs are quite solid and not at all rickety. We only have cats using them (they are popular with all 3, not just the senior) but they are heavy enough I would definitely trust them with dogs too. Great purchase.
Height is good but material on steps is a slippery fleece. My cat sill not walk on it. Assume most people purchase this for a disabled animal. Would have though the material would be regular carpet.
My cats love it
I bought this because we had adopted a 16 yr old cat who had trouble getting up on our bed since the mattress is is more than 2 feet off the floor, and my Maine Coon who loves to snuggle had managed to break a couple of bone in her hind foot and was in a splint for several weeks. it is very sturdy and was just the thing to let these two get up and snuggle with me whenever they wanted. It is very affordable, easy to put together, and blends in well with the bedroom decor.
We got the 3-step, took 5 minutes to put together, easy peezy, wrench included. Our 16-yr. old kitty can now get on top of the dresser himself to view out the window. I put treats on the steps and the dresser to get him acclimated to using it. Quite sturdy yet lightweight. Made of solid boards with a thin, soft-fur material wrap, no padding. Kitty uses it every day/night and now I sleep better not hearing him leaping and falling anymore. We LOVE it.
These stairs are high-quality, affordable, easy to assemble, they look nice in my home, and most importantly - my cat uses them! My cat is a 10-year-old, 17 pound Maine Coon man, and he likes to jump up to high places, but with him getting older, he makes me nervous about jumping down from these high places... he's not exactly graceful about it. He will not accept my assistance, since he really does not like being picked up, so I thought I would try these stairs. First, I tried making the lower platform the larger one, and he used them but it wasn't perfect. Disassembling and re-configuring so the larger platform was on top was super simple. Now he can gently lower himself from high places with the help of these stairs, and he also likes to just hang out on them, too. The stairs are sturdy, and do not wobble or move when he uses them. We like them so much, I'm thinking of ordering more for other locations in my home (in the meantime, I move the stairs to wherever he's looking to jump down from, if he's spending more than a few seconds contemplating, ha).
My 15-year-old foster cat’s favorite spot is her heated window bed, which is on top of an IKEA Kallax 4x4 cube bookshelf. I used to have a smaller set of stairs next to the shelf, but she was still having trouble getting up & down and the dimensions of the stairs were too narrow for her to be stable. Decided to buy these steps and it turns out they’re almost exactly the same height & width as the Kallax unit! The platforms are deep enough that she has enough room to actually stand on them, and the height between platforms is low enough that she can get up & down with relative speed. Definitely recommend for your resident senior Neighborhood Watch member!
I bought this for my two senior cats. They started having trouble jumping onto their feeding table. This small staircase was not only easy to put together, but fit the space perfectly. I don’t have to worry about my cats hurting themselves jumping on/off the table anymore. And my two cats love it!
Stairs for the win!
After searching for the right set of stairs that wouldn't break the bank we found this set that do the trick! We have a dachshund/chihuhua mix that needs help getting on our bed. We opted for the 3 stairs and it was super easy to assemble and came in a conveniently smaller box. Probably not ideal for dogs over 35lbs; not the most stable on thicker carpet and might easily tip over. Our Ozzy mainly uses them to go up and jumps off the bed, so we can't really say how well they work going down.
My cat is getting older and finding it difficult to jump up on the bed. I got these steps to help him get up to his favorite place to nap and he's starting to figure it out and use it. Easy to put together and much appreciated.

Very cheap plywood. My pug chewed a corner off in about five minutes. Yes...it could be my puggie, but I've had chewers before that have not destroyer steps. Tito even is demonstrating his handy work in one picture.
