First of all, the price was fantastic. Second, items were well marked and instructions easy to follow. We also viewed the YouTube video from Furhaven and it made it even easier. It took about half an hour to assemble, they include the Allen wrench, and he immediately climbed inside. He has already checked out most of it. It looks great, is sturdier than I expected and I’m so glad we bought this!
Don’t let tiny platforms stop you!

LONG but INFORMATIVE review...
YES! The two top platforms are far too small for any adult cat to comfortably perch on as they look at their kingdom below. The overall layout isn’t the most friendly for your average sized cat BUT that doesn’t mean it can’t work. I have a 14 pound male cat and a 8.5 month old female kitten that is almost 12 pounds, so I have some behemoths to accommodate. The nice thing about these cat trees is that YOU CAN REARRANGE THEM. Because they require assembly, I moved around the set up a little to make the tree more functional for my cats and they absolutely LOVE IT. The pictures show both cats on the original tree layout and then the layout after I put my own twistLONG but INFORMATIVE review...

The pictures show both cats on the original tree layout and then the layout after I put my own twist to it. Rearranging the tree didn’t compromise any stability, my cats still confidently climb the sisal rope to get to the top platform and they now utilize the entire thing including the large condo which is big enough to lay in.
New construction. Aside from the smaller platforms being moved to the bottom where the large platform originally was most of the reconfiguration happened up top. I moved the small box from the center of the L platform to the right side. This provided more space to lay down and the ability to attach the long platform to the top of 2 sisal rope posts. The ball game was then placed on top of the small box. While the small condo isn’t great for laying in, it is a great place to keep a food and water dish (so dogs can’t get to it) or even put some toys or treats in there.
Don’t let small platforms and a little reconfiguration discourage you. This tree is great for the price.… more

Ordering was easy, shipping was beyond quick, assembling was easy, within an hour of use, the hanging gray toy was destroyed, the box with the toy balls is cool, but the toys are smaller than the holes on the sides and they are gone, I suggest assembling the box with larger toys inside that won't slip through the holes. The hanging white mouse no longer has a tail. The hanging rope is ignored, I suggest just removing that. The top two perches have stripped screws so they turn and there needs to be a perch big enough for a grown cat to sit. For the money, my expectations were higher.
Small and little used :(

I really wanted to like this, but unfortunately it's rarely used by my cats. Even at 7 months old, my cat was too big to fit in either cubby, and even after sprinkling with catnip and putting treats in them, she refuses to go in. The perches are too small to lay on as well, so the most she can do is sit on it to look out the window, but even then she prefers the sill instead of the tree.
They do like the busy box but are able to knock the toys out in a few seconds. The little mouse was intriguing for a bit but was pulled off by her the night I set it up.
Overall, spend a little more to get one that'll fit a normal sized cat. This could be great for a kitten foster though.
My cat loves it

Super easy to put together. Thought the base was a little small and it wouldn't be sturdy enough but I was wrong. My cat will fly through the room and jump on it at full speed and it barely moves.

I got this to replace my older Armakat tree. My girls love the old tree. This tree's landings and houses are so small. I have a special needs cat and she can't use it. I already put it together and hoped for the best, but I am going to have to do something about the perches and accessibility. I paid a lot for this, and I feel like I can't return it now, so I'm hoping to help another avoid.
I love it and so are my cats

Platforms are too small for full sized cats
on Jan 15, 2019
It went together well and is impressive but the platforms and boxes are too small for my cats. They are normal sized house cats. They still climb it, but mostly use it as a bridge to the bookcases. It is a little unsteady as well. They seem to like the rattle toys. They pulled the balls out of the "busy box" in a matter of minutes and chased them around the living room. I also have a Frisco 78-inch cat tree, which they prefer.
Such a fun cat tree!

My cats just love this cat tree! It was easy to set up. It's a little obstacle course for cats with lots of fun toys. The balls it came with for the little box with the holes were a little small and kept falling out so we put some that are a little bigger in it and they work just fine. Definitely recommend this cat tree.
Great for small spaces

We have tall ceilings without much floor space, and this cat tree is just what we were looking for! It's nice and tall with a small footprint (though overall it is a smidge wider than the description). The construction is satisfactorily sturdy; it has a bit of a sway when our cat jumps up to the higher levels, but nothing in danger of tipping over. And most importantly, our cat loves it!
