FurHaven Trail Pup Hands-Free Dog Leash

Awesome hands free walking. Nice bungee helps buffer strong pulling from my dog. Almost 1 year later of daily use and still great. Buying one for mom next.

I really needed a replacement leash with two hooks for another belt that was a gift some time ago (the belt is great, but the pup destroyed the leash). FurHaven makes a much better and stronger leash -- thanks! Now if only you sold it without the belt.... I stroll with my dog and check e-mail at the same time. And I can power walk with him so we both get a good workout.

Husband seen a few people at the park with their dog attached to the waist asked me to find him one. I found them here on chewy and for a great price. The belt it thick so made me feel better that it won't wear out. Looks like it will last through wear and tear. One problem my husband is skinny had to use a safety pin to fit his waist. The girls so far love it, we use it with the Halti dog harness to prevent choking. Perfect for shopping trips to garden/hardware stores. hands-free leash is my new shopping buddy

First time out in the forest hiking, we were complementing ourselves about what a great purchase because it frees up both hands and shifts the yanking to the waist instead of a single arm, but the moment our 8-month old Siberian Husky zeroed-in on a chipmunk and bolted, it snapped the side release buckle right off. No problem with bungee. Not recommended for powerful working dogs. This product would be a 5 star if buckle were stainless steel.

Negative: the clips where it attaches to the dog are razor sharp so every time you take it on or off the dog collar or belt because it was both ends. The latch cuts my thumb. I wish the leash part was adjustable only other negative. Positive: made a world of difference in potty training because the puppy was so quiet in movements I wouldn’t notice, but with this belted leash I could keep her tethered to me and not have any accidents.

I love the solidness of the belt - many hands free walking sets use velcro, but this has a good heavy duty fastex buckle. My only issue is the length of the leash. It's just a little too long, which means either I or my dog will step on it if he's walking at heel (which he usually does). I have to wrap it around the belt a few times to make it about 6-8" shorter. Aside from that, it's very nice and extremely convenient for when I want to use my hands for things other than holding the leash.

This leash is amazing. Had to get another one. It corrects my dog on his walk. And I also have a puppy as well. Teaching her how to stay close to me. It is wonderful.

I use this leash to take my husky running and hiking. I wish there were a few more color options. But for a cheap leash like this I was pleasantly surprised.

Haven’t used it for running yet, but took the dog for a long walk and it was nice to have both my hands free. I loved the bungee effect of the cord. My little guy is often getting tangled in his regular 4 ft leash and this was the perfect solution!

I thought this would be such an amazing product to use with my pup. Unfortunately my first time using it, my dog ran and pulled. My 50 lb dog broke it very easily. The plastic part broke and there is no way to fix it.
