I was so excited to receive this bed—I‘ve been feeling bad because we don’t let my sweet Golden Retriever on our couch, so like any other pet owner I wanted my pup to have his own comfy place to sleep! Due to the reviews, and how expensive it was, I was expecting a high quality bed… boy, was I disappointed. When I picked up the box, I was shocked at how light it was… when I took it out, I could immediately tell how cheap the materials are. The bed is not uniform, the cover is super thin, and it just feels very cheap. Certainly not worth the price I paid. Furthermore, our Golden is 55 pounds at 7 months old, and he barely fits on the Jumbo size bed. I had to tell him to get on the bed for this picture… He doesn’t seem want to get on it and keeps laying on the floor instead. Overall really disappointed… go with something else.
My dog loves this new bed and is not begging to get on mine anymore. He's an 8yo former racing greyhound with arthritis. The firmness makes it easier for him to lay down, and he seems very comfortable sleeping. It's nice that the bolsters are only on two sides, since he likes to lay his head on it and really stretch out with his feet hanging over the bed. It looks nice and matches our furniture. Dog is 80 lb, we got size jumbo in sage green.
This is the second FurHaven bed we have purchased. It is the exact one be we bought the first time because our 125 pound German Shepard loves it. We've had the first one for a few years and it is still in good condition and he still uses it.
My dog loves her FurHaven deluxe chase orthopedic dog bed. I decided to buy this because she could no longer get up on the couch and she looked so pitiful in her ordinary pillow bed. Now she looks super comfy. We're very happy!
The zipper was broke already when I took it out the box, and the fabric ripped so easily when I pulled it out the box it was crammed into the pillow part and fabric ripped a thrid of the way off. Do not recommend it at all.
I will say that the bed itself is good. It is a nice size and the bolster is helpful for my dog. I was excited that the bed was fairly easy to wash, since many dog beds can be a bit of a pain to wash. However, The first time that I went to wash this bed, the zipper fell off! And it cannot be put back on. This makes the getting the bed together very difficult. And it makes me not want to wash the bed again. However, I need to wash my pet's bed. Very disappointed, and I would not recommend this bed to anyone nor would I repurchase.
My Abby loved this bed, it's one of many that she currently has and she prefers it over the rest. She's older and I've noticed that she gets up easier than the others so the memory foam must be doing its job.
I am already looking to replace it. The inner cushion he lays on is flattened and has lost its shape. I would not buy again.
Not worth the money, this bed is made of cheap fabric. I also ordered the jumbo and my boxer barely fits on it.
My 85lb dog is comfortable in this bed. It has a thick bottom so she does not sink to the floor. Seems very supportive for joints. So far so good. No issues with this bed!
