So thin that our dog sneaks off to other beds in the night
By j2knee on Feb 11, 2021
While I’ve purchased a few great quality dog beds from Chewy, this is a very thin crate pad, and not a “plush” bed. I cannot imagine how the filling - which seems to be made of the same thin material as egg crate foam - could be called a “gel cooling pillow”. Our 65lb American Pit Bull mix begrudgingly puts up with it for an hour or two at bedtime and then sneaks away to one of his plush bolster beds around the house in the middle of the night. He’ll only stay through the night if we layer blankets on top of this pad. I give it two stars because the cover washes well, but you get what you pay for, and I would not recommend this pad.

Great Support!
By Linonboo on Feb 5, 2021
This bed has great support! My dog is 81lbs. and has gone through 2 orthopedic beds. The kind that have egg crate foam. He smashes it down with his weight. This bed has much more supportive memory foam. And he loves it! Not sure about the cooling yet, will know more in the summer. Will post more then.

Soft and big
By PitskyMom on Feb 28, 2021
My pitsky loves this bed. It has a decent amount of support. I love it too. Comfy enough to lay on with him for a nap. He has already started chewing it, but that’s just what puppies do.

My girl loves this bed!
By Paisleysmom on Feb 27, 2021
She goes straight to it every time. Usually it's in her dog house but even if I have pulled it out for some reason she will find it and jump right on.

More comfortable than my own bed!
By Marcia on Oct 30, 2020
I bought this for my 10 y/o German shepherd/mastiff mix who is about 130 lbs. He absolutely loves this bed! I scoured pet stores in person and online to find him a bed that would fit him and then I came across this one. I finally found him a bed that he has plenty of space to sprawl out on without falling off or having to turn in a bunch of tiny circles to get comfy. Its nice and thick to cushion his old man elbows and hips. Im so glad he loves it and I highly recommend this bed.

Decent bed
By Shannon1980 on Aug 23, 2020
My 75lb PittieLab mix liked this bed while in his cage. It was memory foam with another kind of foam on top in light blue. Im assuming the cooling gel. But cooling gel doesn't feel like this did. I was happy with this bed. So was my boy Diesel. He isnt a chewer. And for 3 months while in his cage he did great. I moved recently and today along with the other day while he was in his cage he chewed thru cover and ripped it all up. Shredded the corner. I hope if he swallowed any pieces he will be ok. I wish there was something in the information that said what to be expected if dog chews/eats foam. Im upset cause of the price it was. It seemed to hold up it shape even though it wasn't used daily. I just ordered a second one!
By Mary on Jul 8, 2020
I ordered a large bed for my 3 little shih tzus to use on the patio. I had 3 small beds and the silly digs would all try to snuggle on ONE small bed. I thought I was so smart until I opened it in the kitchen and set it on the floor - all 3 dogs immediately climbed up and snuggled on it - and it's their new favorite spot. They love having a comfy bed in the kitchen (doggy beds in every other room in the house). I just ordered a second bed for the patio. Kudos to the Customer Service Representative who helped me narrow down my search for orthopedic and cooling beds.

expected better
By AnnaR on Jun 28, 2020
With the description of memory foam and the photo, the mattress was expected to be more dense and high quality for the cost. I’d consider this more for a mat to put in a crate, but not a great quality bed.

Beware the chemicals...

My 2y old Portuguese Water Dog runs hot... in the summer, she will jump in an unheated baby pool set in the shade for her multiple times a day so she can be comfortable outside.
