My dog LOVES his new bed!
We have a 65 pound 10 year old Goldendoodle who stands 3 feet tall. We had a different, thinner bed for him and he didn’t use it as much as he uses this one. He loves his new FurHaven bed. He lays on it throughout the day and always looks so comfortable. I am glad that he is on a comfortable, orthopedic mattress. We bought the Jumbo size and I wish it was a bit larger. The Jumbo Plus is so much bigger and is too large. He cannot fully stretch out on this bed. Maybe FurHaven will develop another size that is in between the Jumbo and Jumbo Plus. We are considering buying a second one for our bedroom. He does sleep on our bed at night but when he does jump off, it would be nice for him to have one to sleep on.
Love at first sight!
We bought this bed for our 90 lbs. Golden, Jessica, who turns 9 years old next month. As soon as we took it out of the box, she hopped on it and slept for an hour. She doesn't show any signs of arthritis, still sprite as a youngster; however, we wanted another bed for her to go to besides her nighttime bed. Well, as you can see, she loves it. We got her a Jumbo size so she can sprawl out. So far, so good!
Disappointed
Rcv'd bed and it was big and beautiful, but the bed in my opinion should not be water resistant when foam is resistant. The description does not mention a liner, but the questions/answers do--however the liner wasn't included. When I contacted customer service, they said it was from 2020 therefore it would not guarantee that the item would still be included. Unfortunately I had return the bed and had to look for another bed with the liner mentioned in description and to not rely on the 'water resistant' checked category. Would not recommend for a senior dog in case she has an accident, I need more protection for my fur baby.
Nice bed, but
Nice bed but my Marty for some reason will not go on it. I’ve never had this problem before. It is built well also. I have 3 other bed’s similar to this but without the end pieces sticking up, he goes on everyone of them. I thought this one would help him with his ongoing arthritis and stomach issues to be more comfortable. I’ve put him on the bed he gets off.
Thinner Than Expected
My dog was interested in it. Tried it out but wasn’t too keen on it. She never even tried to lay down. I got her another bed at the same time and she immediately snuggled on it. The core is also a bit thin, it doesn’t have cooling components and I’m not sure about the orthopedic qualities. Since she didn’t even give it a try I didn’t want to remove too many stars.
More than enough for our GSD.
I purchased the Jumbo Plus and it's more than big enough for our 70+lbs , 4 y.o. GSD. It comes vacuum packed and within minutes it was already pretty cushy. By the following morning it seems pretty much at full thickness. It seems very comfy and it's very soft. Will update when I need to wash the cover.
Too thin
This bed was MUCH thinner than I thought, based on the description and pictures. Simply putting my hand on it with some pressure and I can feel through to the floor. The upward curved sides are nice and sturdy, but the rest of it is not good. Very disappointing
BIG
I got the second biggest bed for my 178 lb mastiff and it is HUGE! You could fit two of her on it...She seems to be enjoying it but you could easily fit two of her on it and it is taking over my bedroom...lol. Great bed just big enough for a horse!
Awesome
We purchased one of these about 3 months ago for my grandson who is a malinois so kind of a rough breed. He destroyed a few beds just trying to get comfortable. They have a tendency to try and try and move the stuffing to a position they want. I know other breeds do this as well. Not with this one. He loved it so much my son started napping on it. As a result, we bought them a second. It is amazingly comfortable and extremelt high value and quality. it is foam based so very good durability.
GIANT is Spot On!!!!
Included photo so you can see just how GIANT this bed really is. It fits 2 giants!!! Those two dogs are 300+ lbs of lazy love & drool combined. We got the Giant size for our 160+ lbs male and the Jumbo Plus for our 140+ lbs female. They love their beds so much you can often catch them cuddling together on either size (although the Giant definitely has more breathing room). The support is more than adequate for their weight. Haven’t noticed any flattening. Owned for about 3 months now. We give it a paws-up rating for sure!
